We have already tried the chicken sandwiches this summer, the croque-monsieurs and especially the LASAGNES in the POULET (a murder! Excellent farm chicken. Lasagna is just as successful. It's all home. An address on Tignes where you don't have to go to check. Gentilless and professionalism are also on the rdv!

Very good discovery by chance. We tasted salads on site and took the sandwiches and lasagna. The dishes are tasty and hearty, with a more "healthy" choice, the prices are more than reasonable for quality in the plate, and the whole team is really very pleasant.

All right, nice, nice. It's not obvious to eat healthy up there. In addition to fondues, raclettes and other pizzas, there are no restaurants offering dishes with vegetables, good salads, fresh products and recipes. Thanks to the Chickens, we found you late but happy with our last meal in Val Claret!

"Had a reservation here for new years eve. The restaurant has a modern interior, with a lot pf qiirky art on the walls. The restaurant was running a double service, but clearly did not have the staff to manage this. While the staff was friendly...and trying their best to manage, it was not a success. We arrived at the time of our reservation 2130), but had to wait 20 minutes for our table as the previous service was overrunning. Subsequently another 20 minutes afterwards to get anyones attention to order a drink. The food was a set menu, which came at a reasonably steep price €80), and had some hit and misses. The first course consisted of crab in jelly, with a fennel mousse. None of our group were particularly impressed, and most other tables neither. Personally I had three bites and left the rest after one fellow diner remarked it looked a bit too much like Whiskas, I lost my appetite. The second course however was stunning Coquilles st Jaques with Herring Caviar. Fabulous dish. The main couse was pidgeon a local specialty. It was well prepared, the cuisson was good and flavour too. The dessert had the potential to be interesting granita ice of violettes, with a chocolate cream. The tastes of both elements was good, but unfortunately the texture of the shaved ice, and chocolate cream did not mix well at all. Overall a somewhat disappointing experience, after having read the raving reviews on tripadvisor. We might come back on a quieter day to try the a la carte menu."

"Great food for all, including veggies and a gluten free member of our party. The crew (especially Christian) could not have been more helpful with an advanced booking and menu choice from the UK. The informal and intimate atmosphere in the upstairs restaurant really made the evening. The food really was fabulous. I would certainly recommend to anyone going to Tignes. It is a short free bus ride from Tignes Le Lac where we stayed. Certainly a 5 star experience. Thanks guys!!"

"The restaurant is positioned as haute cuisine , very well decorated, welcoming and with friendly service, however it does not offer a tasting menu. Pros: ambiance, decor, some dishes themselves, wine offerings, desserts. Cons: reasonable table service (our table was not cleaned once during the entire dinner I consider it serious for an institution of the desired level); very poor couvert (just bread, mini garlic butter and olive oil, the latter is not of gourmet quality); good wine list but lack of a decanter in the institution (OMG, the staff don 't know what it is... this is very bad). Average price: €100/pax. It is recommended to visit since the rest of the offer in the village is of the tavern or fastfood type."

"WOW! A huge blow of heart. After a long journey on the trails (we are beginners) ending the adventure at the Folie Douce, it’s kind of like finding the “Promise Land”. Crazy atmosphere, restaurant and cabaret located in the middle of the mountains. What a view! If you pass the corner (Tignes, Val d’Isère) this place must be a priority for you. To see absolutely. What an atmosphere! The dishes are very good and the wine too. It's hard to start skiing after that. We chose the chairlift. Thanks to the whole team of the Folie Douce for this warm welcome"
