"While the Longacre is part of Marsdens pub chain the food certainly doesn't look or taste like it. We have visited on numerous occasions and have ordered something different each time. We have never had anything that didn't taste lovely freshly cooked there is always a good choice, that caters for all. The new items on the menu are to the usual high standard, especially the salt chilli kebab portions are always a good size. The staff here are always really welcoming, friendly and helpful and always look happy in their job. They are also very child friendly. The last thing and by no means least is the way they cater for children during school holidays. This ranges from fabulous activities that they put on to the offers on food. All round a fantastic local place with a relaxed atmosphere that is suitable for all."

really solid Sunday dinner. all veg and meat perfectly cooked and good portions. it needed more gravity, but the staff can not do enough for them. excellent choice.

had a fantastic time with breakfast with santa on Saturday. the children loved it and the breakfast was tasty thank everyone who did the team amazing though they did not stop

This place is always clean and decorated (given the season/event) to a good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food arrives always hot . Lovely pub for everyone to enjoy

We enjoyed another fantastic late lunch at this restaurant, with delicious lasagna and friendly staff. We got a quiet window seat today, which was perfect for us. We look forward to visiting again in November.

We had another fantastic late lunch at this restaurant. It was curry day, which made it even better value. My husband tried the new hotdog and absolutely loved it. The staff was great and very professional. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We are in the middle of having our kitchen done which means no use of a cooker. We are so lucky to have a place like this on our doorstep. The staff are welcoming the food is gorgeous my only suggestion to make it better would be introducing parmos to the menu

came from bolton to visit our daughter and our son in law and our 3 years old and 3 weeks old big sons. was also with our youngest daughter and her fiance. we had a beautiful meal, the staff was excellent and the place is immaculate. will definitely come back when we visit again.

me and my friend came to longacer earlier today ,the drinks were delivered straight away and finding a table was no bother at all as we called in advanced and the person who answered the phone (alfie) reserved us a table which was very convenient . our food was delivered quickly and was very nice, our main waiter (alfie) came and made sure we were all okay with our food and provided a nice welcoming atmosphere, we enjoyed it so much we even ordered a desert each, the waitresses were also very nice and polite. would definitely reccomed, cheap prices, good service and good food
