Great food. Fantastic service. You just know the guy on the floor knows what he's doing and enjoying it. A warm original decor. Clean toilet. Great location. I highly recommend this cozy and nice place

Small restaurant with a friendly staff and great food. Everything we ordered was good, from the house wine to the quiche to the fish to the desert. Reasonable prices, too. You can't go wrong with this place.

Ate in L'oracle twice when on business in Montpellier. I would have gone a third time but they were booked out. It's a small restaurant with one person serving. Food really good offering excellent value for money (€27 for set 3 courses). Well worth a visit but remember to reserve a table.

We were staying in the area for one night and were looking for a restaurant, many were closed and found L'Oracle by accident. We had the set menu for 19 euros each. The portions were a good size and the quality excellent, drinks were also good value. service was also excellent. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We have been here a couple of times. First time we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service by a young waiter. We decided to go back with some guests and we were disappointed, it seemed to be another restaurant, simple dishes and much worse service by a more senior member of the team.From our first experience, we paid the bill without complains, but it is quite expensive if you get the same as our second experience.

As a group of 13 we enjoyed an exceptional meal on the Friday night before the Montpellier v Glasgow rugby match.Picked from the reviews on trip advisor the experience surpassed expectations.We were looked after very well, the service was spot on and the food excellent.With three courses, pre dinner drinks, ample wine and some brandy to finnish the bill was less tham EUR€50 which we considered very good value indeed.Most chose steak as a main and they were all cooked to order and delicious.Highly recommended.

Visited this restaurant while spending a few days in Montpelier, although this restaurant is not in the old town it was near to our hotel and we visited based on other trip advisor reviews. And we are pleased we did. We got a table without a reservation, it was very friendly, they even offered to help translate the menu, which was really nice. The menu changes weekly and the choice is not huge but everything we choose was excellent and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Excellent food, great wine with friendly service and excellent value for money. Go!

My tour group ate at this restaurant as part of our tour package. Normally that would mean okay food, but I was pleasantly surprised by my meal here. The food was very innovative. My beet and corn salad had a cucumber wasabi cream which melted over the vegetables. The pork was very tender and the potatoes were whipped to a lovely smooth texture. My tablemates had the stuffed octopus which also looked very tasty. Desserts didn't disappoint either. The Chocolate baba had a light and fluffy angle food cake with a lovely rich dark chocolate sauce and the other dessert was a variation of a key lime pie. I would give this an excellent rating if my chair had been more comfortable.

We were in the city during the St Valentin weekend when many restaurants, including this one, basically offered their special menu, in this case at 39€. On the whole, I'd say that this is a place where all the staff make a real effort to do their best, and, on the whole, the results correspond.We began with a crab "mise en bouche", which set the tone of the meal: fresh ingredients and good presentation. The scallops that followed weren't dry as others have experienced, but juicy, and accompanied by a truly aromatic polenta. The beef was fine, and the accompanying potatoes "amandine au foie gras" were excellent; the dessert was tasty but small, but then I always find desserts small in restaur...
