"Table for three consisted of two small round tables put together making the third person feel out of the engagement. Brought to the attention of staff member when shown the table and with few people within the restaurant this could have enabled a quick remedy. Met with a shrug when brought to the attention of this particular staff member, although other staff members were helpful during the evening. No real provision for wheelchair users. Had to go outside the hotel to enter the restaurant through conservatory with no ramp provision, having to struggle over threshold of fire door."

It was OK. My wife's mother got pork tenderloin which had been overcooked to the point that it was a bit tough. Service was also a bit slow.

We went for a leisurely walk in Hyde Park with the goal of having tea at this restaurant. The setting is beautiful, with a view of Kensington Palace.

Great weather so we sat outside. The service was excellent. Food was lovely but would have liked to have seen more variety on the set menu perhaps a nice salad. Would eat here again. Speisekarte ansehen

FOOD QUALITY IS INVARIABLY DISAPPOINTING AT THE RESTAURANT AND WE ONLY CONTINUE TO GO THERE BECAUSE OF THE GREAT SURROUNDINGS AND AMBIANCE. IT IS OVER 45 YEARS THAT I HAVE FREQUENTED THE RESTAURANT AND IT IS FAIR TO SAY THAT THE MEAL NOWADAYS IS BUT A POOR REFLECTION ON MY EARLIER EXPERIENCES AT THE HOTEL. TIMES CHANGE AND NOT ALWAYS FOR THE BETTER! A GREAT PITY.

They do not serve dinner after 2.30 pm and then not again untill 6.30 pm , you can only get the bar menu between these times. I was not made aware of this when i booked a table for four for 4.30 pm. The bar menue consists of the normal stuff that most pubs ect would serve up, burgers, salads, etc but not what i was hoping for. Also, it is the first time in my life that our bill was brought to the table before , 1, the table was even cleared and 2, before we had even been asked if there was anything else we wanted. Quite strange.
