Charming little Indian restaurant in the beautiful town of Cookham. This was my second visit, and I loved it just as much. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

Lovely food, but they messed up on the takeaway order. Gave two portions of chicken tikka instead of one. I wouldn't have minded, but I was charged for it. Majid the manager was very accommodating and we had the best food there. The following day, I started feeling unwell, experiencing severe nausea and diarrhea. I've just recovered from what seems to have been contaminated food. Reflecting on it now, the sight of kitchen staff outside trying to address a sewage problem raises serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene standards. I would definitely not visit any of their locations again and strongly advise others to avoid this restaurant to prevent any potential risks. This restaurant is definitely dining out on long gone excellence. The service was surly and abrupt (locals treated differently) and was changed tables mid meal to accommodate a party of 2. The food is both highly overrated and overpriced. The King Prawn Tandoori Masala was in essence vile, heavy with coconut and cloying sweetness — nothing like a true tikka, and there was no char or smokiness on the prawns.
