"Booked in for Saturday night and from start to finish we had an amazing night out, seated straight away, the waitress was straight over to get drinks orders and then menu followed (we couldn't decide what to have) so waitress gave some recommendations and came back a few minutes later and took our order. We were not disappointed!! The food was fresh and hot and I asked for a couple of slices of bread for the sauce from the homemade lasagne. Nothing was too much trouble. We waited a little while to order dessert (ice cream) which was gorgeous and not to filling. The restaurant was very busy but we weren't made to feel rushed at all and sat for a little while with another round of drinks and got the bill. Very reasonable prices. Would recommend booking and it's great to see a much loved restaurant busy again. Staff are so friendly, attentive and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Can't wait to visit again and also loving the fresh new look with the decor. We will be back. Lunch at this restaurant will cost you between £20-£30 per person, but it is well worth it. The food, service, and atmosphere all get top marks of 5. I highly recommend trying the chips, potato skins, and lasagne when you visit.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, the portions were larger than assumed (for surprisingly lower prices than expected), and the atmosphere was cosy. We arrived early at the restaurant, but they were too busy to seat us promptly. When we checked our online booking, it wasn't on the list. The name they had written on a scrap of paper was incorrect. After some confusion, we were eventually seated. Our drink order was taken and delivered quickly, but it took a while for our meal order to be taken.
