Birthday treat for my wife, great food service with loads of brownie points from the boss

The staff had a wonderful attitude. I ordered a steak, and the manager gave great suggestions on which cuts could be cooked medium and which could be rare. Dario was particularly impressive.

The food was very well cooked, tasted amazing and presented nicely. They accomadated for my wife's dietary requirements brilliantly, (gluten and dairy free) without affecting quality of the food. My complements to the chef. Speisekarte ansehen

Nice place, great service, delicious food. I know steak is in the name but I wish there were more vegetarian options to choose from the main dishes. We had ordered steak file, pork escalopes, gnocchi and kids mac n cheese everything was delicious and cooked perfectly.

Great meal, very filling! I had the salmon starter (huge portion for a brilliant price! followed by The Colonel burger which came with hot chips and huge onion rings. The meal was delicious and so big that I didn’t finish it which is unusual for me (took it home all boxed up . Will definitely return. Special thanks to Dario and Chloe for their service.

The restaurant falls significantly short of Marco Pierre White's reputation, offering mediocre pub food at fine dining prices. The waitstaff performed well, but the wine steward lacked the proper technique for pouring sparkling wine. The fillet steaks were served nearly cold on icy plates, and the roast lamb was far from satisfactory. There is a substantial need for improvement. Speisekarte ansehen

On arrival was met with a lovely welcome after that it was down hill, waiting 25mins for 2 lemonades to arrive after having 3 waitresses/waiters ask if we'd been taken care of no communication between staff).Food was tasteless and order was wrong, sourdough bread was over done main orders was wrong, no taste to the food.My wife and I seem were always over looked/ forgotten about.Very unhappy with everything there, I'd describe it as an over priced harvester.

For our main courses, we each chose different types of steak, both of which were cooked to perfection and undoubtedly the best we've ever had—they were incredibly satisfying. My fillet steak was topped with garlic butter king prawns that were bursting with flavor, as was all the food! Everything was seasoned perfectly. We couldn’t resist dessert, so we opted for the cheesecake with blueberry sauce, and it exceeded our expectations. To my surprise, my partner then proposed to me, and the staff went above and beyond to make the moment even more special. This was a night we will cherish forever. Thank you, and we will definitely be returning!

Imagine if you show up for a special occasion to be told that “no cocktails available because no one can make them, because the training that Marco Pierre offers is terrible”.Apparently there was also a major staff shortage and last minute hired help in. It was clear.Dave, the supposed “Managing Director” was in charge. Patronising, unapologetic, and clearly didn’t have himself together.Later, I asked for an espresso macchiato. The barman repeated “I told you we ain’t doing cocktails”. It’s a coffee with milk!!I was there for my brothers wedding.
