We enjoyed a lovely meal here whilst travelling through Spain. The tomato salad, mushrooms and mushroom croquettes were simple but phenomenal. The house red was sensational, can’t wait to come back again. Speisekarte ansehen

We sat at the bar and initially had a glass of red with one pinxos each. The anchovies were so delicious we stayed. We then had a few of the hot dishes including scallops and octopus and obviously more wine. The whole evening was really enjoyable with the staff friendly too. The food was excellent. Another in the long line of Pintxos bars we visited while in San Sebastián. There were Some great bites here-particularly liked the Gambia's shrimp in a tempura batter) and langoustines -delicious. English here was ok and bar staff very helpful. On a Sunday it was a great, less busy experience than what we experienced on Saturday at similar spots. Really good and very reasonable.

El Martínez is a classic on August 31st, with a varied menu that offers portions and elaborate pintxos, both hot and cold; the latter are prepared on the spot. Friendly and helpful staff. Table and bar service, the place is not excessively large and it can be difficult to find a free place at peak times and on weekends. Recommendable.
