"We visited this restaurant last year and had a great experience, so we decided to come back today with our daughter, son-in-law, and black lab. We wanted to sit together as we had met up in Hornsea for the day, but unfortunately, they were busy and didn't have any tables available for four people. Just as we were about to leave, a friendly young man and woman came out and decided to put two tables together so that all four of us could eat together. This was a thoughtful gesture, especially since we don't get to see each other often due to living 60 miles apart and the lockdowns. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed our meals. The service provided by the young waiter was excellent, as he went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant dining experience. All the other diners leaving the restaurant appeared to be happy as well. We would definitely recommend this place. Thank you so much for a wonderful time."

"We stumbled across this place after booking cloud 9 nearby for a Mexican meal, they no longer do Mexican food! They quickly accommodated our table of 7; 4 adults, 2 teens and 1 child. We were out to celebrate a 40th birthday. Staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and was red hot. Every single plate was empty, an accolade in itself! The food was some of the best we’ve ever tasted, flavourful, cooked perfectly and more than adequate portion sizes. The staff then made a huge effort for the birthday girl, sorting out the cake we had bought and finishing off with a special birthday drink. We were only in Hornsea for the weekend but if we were local this would definitely became our regular. Highly recommend!"

"Our usual choice for fish and chips in Hornsea but VERY disappointed today. Dry bread. Cod was never cod in a million years, thin and grey; large chips were smaller than the small portion. 2 meals NOT worthy of the £15 spent. Very underwhelmed and disappointed and I rarely leave a comment but given your amazing reputation I truly hope this was a one off. Service: Take out"

"booked in advance for 7 o'clock had to wait outside to ten past and unbooked people first sitting, after half an hour we wait our order in, 4 starters came 1 was 15 minutes later, after we were all finished, we had an hour to wait for the main meal, service was appalling, I would have given it 1 star, but that was nicely cooked, though as local buzzers I expected"

"Visited the shop on 28th October. Ordered a takeaway and was told it would take about 15 minutes. Said I would call back for it but when I returned I was kept waiting and waiting and waiting..... After about 20 minutes I asked if my meal had been lost but was told there had been a mistake and someone alse had been given my meal. Until I asked I was not made aware there had been a delay and it still took another 15 minutes for my meal to arrive. My complaints to the manager were just met with 'we have been very busy! ' Staff couldn 't have cared less and the woman taking orders knew who I was but couldn 't be bothered to tell me what was happening or give my replacement order any priority when they admitted the meal had been given to someone else. Can 't comment on the food as I was too angry to eat it. Will try one of their nearby rivals next time."
