Angus and Katie have opened a lovely, cozy restaurant in Falmouth that features delicious dishes made from local ingredients. The menu is concise but offers a vegetarian and/or vegan option. Our dining experience here was the best we had during our three nights in Falmouth. Highly recommended.

After visiting a few years ago we came back to Restaurant Mine and were even more blown away than our first visit! We had the crab fritters to start, which were also a winner last time (definitely recommend! . The waitresses were lovely and attentive and always ensured we were taken care of. The food at this restaurant is excellent, with portion sizes that are perfect for fine dining and packed with delicious flavors. You'll probably want to order a starter and main dish, or a main dish with sides. The indoor space is cozy and intimate, with a clear view of the kitchen. The background music adds to the ambiance without being overpowering. The restaurant is dog-friendly, with indoor seating available for your furry friends (although larger dogs may be more comfortable sitting outside). The service is top-notch.

I believe that my personal experience at Mine was better than the review I am about to leave here, but unfortunately, our meal that night did not meet our expectations. The food itself was delicious, however, the service we received was lacking, especially when compared to the preferential treatment given to the table next to us. Despite being seated and ordering before them, they received their drinks and starters before us, as it became evident that they were friends with the chefs and staff. Should other diners' experiences be affected by these relationships? Additionally, there seemed to be inconsistencies in portion sizes, suggesting a need for improved quality control in the kitchen. What a great restaurant! Really really good food, the more I think about it, the more I realise how good it actually was, like genuinely outstanding food, creative, simple and full of flavour. The menu is small but packs a punch with its options, covering all your vegan/veggie and GF needs, producing such beautiful looking dishes. The chefs are loving and charming, down for a chat with any interested customers, and you can otherwise feel free to admire their work via the open pass. It gives the place a real sense of togetherness, especially considering how it only seats roughly 20.
