"We had arrived at Palermo airport at midday after an overnight flight from North America, and were en route to Erice at Sicily 's western edge. We knew we had to get off the autostrada soon if we were to find a place still open for...lunch, and Michelin suggested a few places in Castellammare del Golfo. We consider ourselves very lucky to have started our 40th anniversary re tracing of our honeymoon trip with lunch at Mirko 's. We were not taken into the restaurant, which is located along a medieval stairway leading down to the port hence the Discesa or descent in the street address): the interior dining room was taken by the families of children making their first communion in the parish church. So we sat outside, under umbrellas, and were ably attended by Federico. My bride chose a remarkable pasta dish for her primo piatto, bucatini all 'aglio, oro, e pepe that is, with olive oil, gold, and pepper) atop the astonishingly flavorful bucatini was what appeared to be gold leaf. Location perfetta, persona le molto cordiale e servizio ottimo. In ogni piatto si vede (o meglio si assapora la passione e la cura dello chef. Cantina vini molto fornita con focus sulla regionalitá. Qualitâ prezzo ottima. Provatelo e non ve ne periterete. STRACONSIGLIATO

Se volete mangiare in un posto caratteristico, suggestivo e veramente molto valido a livello di qualità del cibo non potete assolutamente mancare di fare tappa in questo ristorante. I prezzi, in riferimento alla tipologia di location di cui fa parte questo ristorante, sono assolutamente ottimi.

we were recommended this restaurant by our travel advisor giancarmine by bestthingstodoinsiclily.com and it was a wonderful start in our Sicily vacation. this restaurant is managed by 3 brothers (two of them are the cooks and the 3rd alberto, the server.) eating is lovely and, I think, a creative interpretation of the Sicilian cuisine. the 3 brothers are friendly, responsive and always ready to develop their kitchen. the restaurant is located on the middle of the stages that connect two flats of the city, from the tourist coast. our party of five had a delightful evening and will highly recommend this restaurant. Ristorante molto carino vicino al porto di Castellammare del Golfo, inserito nella Guida Michelin 2021, che offre piatti a base di carne, pesce e anche un menù vegetariano. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile, molto attento al cliente. Non do 5 stelle solamente perché una delle 2 portate che ho ordinato (Tartare di tonno in cupola fumé mi ha deluso: doveva avere un sentore di affumicatura da rosmarino ma nn si sentiva nulla, inoltre la salsa/olio di accompagnamento allo zenzero non sapeva di nulla se nn leggermente di limone... Peccato perché avevo grandi aspettative per il piatto, ma il primo che ho preso (BUCATINI ALLA CARBONARA DI MARE: CREMA DI COZZE, CALAMARO, BURRO MANEGGIATO E RISO...

Avrei messo 5 stelle se solo il servizio fosse stato all’altezza, ho atteso per 20 minuti qualcuno che mi prendesse la comanda dei dolci … in sintesi ho dovuto alzarmi e andar via senza aver potuto ordinare il dolce, nonostante ciò Unico ristorante di Castellammare del golfo che gode della segnalazione della Guida Michelin, la location è molto carina situata su una scalinata ben riparata dai passanti. I piatti del menú sono ben preparati con ingredienti di ottima qualità. Prezzi in linea con la zona cena con antipasto e una portata principale siamo sui 40€ cad compreso acqua e calice di vino. Non è un ristorante gourmet ma lo consiglio se volete assaporare degli ottimi piatti di pesce e piat...
