No 5 - Speisekarte

Second time we’ve been as it is just short of 400 miles from home! However not disappointed. My starter was mussels and I had 40 all beautifully cooked. A hidden gem. We will be back!!!!

Fantastic restaurant and food was delicious, service was excellent. Took a party of eleven to dinner here on Saturday evening mostly Americans and boy did they enjoy it 10/10 Well done No 5 .

Visited the No.5 Inn for the Christmas menu dinner as a party of 10. Food was amazing and portions were huge. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They looked after so well and the table was decorated beautifully with Santa hats. Thank you very much, everyone loved the whole experience. Speisekarte ansehen

Once again, I had an amazing meal at this restaurant. If you haven't been, you must try it! The mussels in garlic sauce for the starter were perfect. The fish and chips for the main course were fabulous. The homemade pavlova for dessert was fantastic! Kudos to the chef and the very attentive wait staff.

I absolutely adored this place. It is very cozy and inviting, perfect for families. The food is incredible and the staff goes above and beyond to accommodate their guests. The customer service is excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. I loved it and wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.

We made a reservation for Sunday lunch and started with a delicious Leek Potato soup accompanied by a hot homemade bread roll with butter. The main course was roast beef, which was plentiful and tender. Sarah took excellent care of us at our table and made us feel very welcome. It was a fantastic first visit to this restaurant. Well first time visiting this place as we have recently moved to the area and was quite excited to find somewhere nearby to eat. Unfortunately just had a dreadful experience where we ordered chicken wings and as we chewed into them they were frozen this is totally unacceptable under any circumstances. We continued to the mains but we felt that we were very wary of what we were eating so in all very disappointing. The staff were lovely they offered an apology the manager however did not even mention it as she took the bill. Will not be back.

Just had the most amazing meal at the No 5 in Alva....went with Partner,Daughter and Grandson(who has various allergy's) Friendly mine host Alison and her Staff made the our visit most enjoyable.Food was delicious and piping hot. Myself and Daughter had the Sunday roast and have to say, best Roast Beef I have had for years. Partner had Cajun Chicken. My Grandson had Macaroni cheese, after checking all ingredients with Chief, usually going out can be stressful as so hard to accommodate him but today was stress free. Great food, friendly atmosphere and excellent service 5* Would highly recommend Looking forward to our next visit!!!

Contacted Alison ahead of time requesting a vegan meal, and gave an idea of what I was wanting, also explained we needed wheelchair access and a quiet table. Alison was very responsive and helpful with our email request. We were greeted and looked after by Katy who is a friendly and helpful front of house staff member. My partner enjoyed his steak pie and sticky toffee pudding. Thank you to the chef for making delicious food. My vegan meal was awesome, The music was very chilled and the atmosphere so relaxing we didn't want to leave. We moving to the area and thrilled to know this is going to be one of our local watering holes. Thank you to all the staff. Speisekarte ansehen
