Friendly greeting and ongoing fantastic service. Food was beautiful and tasty. We were on holiday when we visited and we returned again at the end of the week it was so nice.

We were lucky to get a table as didn’t book, always book as this place is very busy on a Saturday night. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food was amazing! Well worth a visit.

Been there for family dinner and was just so wonderful! Starter to dessert we had great time. Food was delicioussss. friendly staff, Price was reasonable too. Highly recommended but better be booked, even week day it was quite busy.

Came here tonight for a meal with friends for a birthday night and the food was amazing. Aside from the menu items being great they also had a specials board which we had a few things from. Staff were attentive and really friendly as well....Thoroughly recommend

Warm welcome on arrival. We chose the steak pie and it didn't dissapoint, tender steak and really tasty gravy, fresh vegetables it was a delight. Staff were attentive and friendly. Value for money as well. We will be going back this week whilst we are...away on holiday.

Got 2 x£50 vouchers for a Xmas present to friends. They went to use them to be told they have expired by 10 days. And won’t accept them. Think this is absolutely shocking. Easy way to steal £100 well yous have lost at least 6 peoples business. Absolutely disgusting won’t be back

Arrived at the campsite an hour earlier, ventured over to the restaurant to see if we could dine there. Despite being effectively full, they were able to squeeze us in. Food was great: tasty, well cooked and big portions. Have made booking for today to...make sure we don't miss out.

We went for our dinner and thouraly recommend the woodsman to family and friends. Kelly and her staff are great hosts , the service is excellent. We ordered the lamb shank with mash and vegetables which is great value for money as there's plenty lamb...that falls off the bone. The 2 generous fish portions with chips and pease is also amazing the batter was lovely and crispy. And I had a red Berry Sunday which the cream and fruit really complimented the real ice cream. Sorry didn't think to take pictures trust me I think the meals are value for money, you will be stuffed.

Tonight there were 14 of us gathered at the same table. Some had 3 courses, some had 2 and some had 1 plus drinks. Any food uneaten was down people unable to eat any more because the portions so generous and the food beautifully cooked and presented. We are had a wonderful time and the waiters and waitress were excellent and often joined in our banter which just added to everyones enjoyment I must that I originally booked for 4 persons, rang last night to ask to change it to 10 and at lunchtime today to change it to 14 as more family wished to join us.
