Great food but omg the service is slow. Mains took 45 mins and dessert over 30 mins. Seems to be that they have all their staff on the bar and only one in the restaurant. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Eve was amazing! She was incredibly polite and patient, and even provided us with a complimentary round after we experienced a long wait for our food. We will definitely be returning. (Seriously, give Eve a lot of recognition and rewards because she deserves it!) Speisekarte ansehen

The staff team is fantastic, making each visit a delightful experience. While they could have been even more helpful and accommodating as we made some changes to our requests, we truly appreciate their efforts. Thank you for another wonderful evening filled with great food and excellent service!

Iain (I hope I spelled that correctly; my apologies if not) was incredible! He managed to fit the three of us and our dog, Roger, in for a quick dinner before the reservations started coming in. He was fantastic, and we all enjoyed steak—even Roger! We even found room for dessert! The food was great, the staff were wonderful, and everyone was really friendly. I can't wait to return!

We had pleasure of another dining experience at Old Gatehouse and thoroughly enjoyed this visit. Service was spot on and Lindsey was so attentive and helpful. Our meals were piping hot and did not have to wait long for drinks and food to arrive on a busier Friday evening. Bacon and cheese burgers so tasty grilled to perfection. We would definitely recommend a visit as this is the best pub restaurant in the area. Great staff and cosy atmosphere in pleasant surroundings.
