"Went in today with family for lunch after having been in a few times before on trips to Newark. The menu has changed and there are fewer choices plus a big increase in price but this is similar in many places so didn't deter us at that point. When ordering on the app we found there was no lasagne or fish &chips so those people found an alternative. Again, we found a way around this but the real disappointment was the portion sizes of some of the meals. I ordered the soup. I was aware this is listed as a starter after being advertised as coming with bread and butter I thought this would do as a light lunch. Soup arrived with two tiny extremely hard pieces of bread, no butter and about an inch of soup in the bottom of the bowl. Couldn't believe how little soup there was. Even had to ask for a spoon for it. My daughter's chicken tikka was tiny too, just padded out with lots of chips and a really dry pitta. Really disappointed and don't want to risk coming back. Pic really doesn't do justice to how little soup there was!"

I went to this restaurant today and had an amazing meal prepared by chef Annie! I would definitely come back, but only if Annie is the one doing the cooking again.

I went to this restaurant for dinner on Christmas and had a great experience. The service was wonderful and fast, and the food was delicious. They mentioned that Annie cooked our meal, which was fantastic.

Another fab visitwe had a Christmas dinner and we honestly couldn’t fault it, nice and hot tasty went down a treat as usual the staff were great nothing was to much trouble. We always thoroughly enjoy whatever we eat here. 5 stars from us Speisekarte ansehen

Normally the food was very nice as well as staff but on this occasion found a hair in my dinner which they wanted to refund me for a drink of coke staff all talking behind the bar not really doing anything felt like they didn't want to be there partner burger was very oily was not rested and will definitely not be returning 19.11.23

Called in for Supper, chose 3 small plates as starters from a varied selection, Pate, Chicken Goujons and Battered Prawns. Wife chose Festive Macoroni cheese with Pigs in blankets and shredded Turkey for her main but as it was a newly introduced menu an error occured and she got a standard Mac n cheese ! We brought this to the attention of the manager who swiftly remedied the mix up and gave my Wife a complimentary drink whilst she waited. 5 star service, food was good value, would recommend.
