"We love PPA and have been coming here as a family for a couple of years, since moving to Winchester. It has been a real shame that lockdown has prevented them from operating as usual it was great to go back tonight for a treat, just the two of us. The front of house greeting and service was superb, and we really felt welcomed. Drinks and food orders were taken quickly, and the waiter returned to check that the order received by the kitchen was correct (far better than risking getting it wrong). Wine was ice cold and served properly. Starters were very nice, although in our gluttony we ordered too much the Thai ribs are melt in the mouth tender meat, and the size of a small steak. Partner's lemongrass fish skewers were likewise lovely. We also ordered the tempura vegetables, which were divinely crispy and tasty and I ate too many...... My main course of coconut/cashew crusted chicken on top of mango salad was lovely, the crunch was great against the sharp fruity salad. Partner had sea bass loved it. Far too full to consider dessert but that was our fault entirely. I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent restaurant the fact that the waiter looked concerned at my not competely cleared plate (which was due to my aforementioned gluttony) and asked if everything had been OK just exemplifies how much the team cares about their customers. There was a kind, understanding smile offered when we pointed out we were completely stuffed, though! Tiny point to conform (I think) with govt regs re: COVID 19 the ceiling fans/air con were on full blast and it was freezing cold. Management sorted it out quickly by turning it down when we pointed out the temperature issue take a cardigan though. A really great restaurant with a really great manager and whole team. Such a pleasure to eat at PPA we will be back."

I went for a lovely meal with my family to celebrate my birthday. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious (one of my favourites) and generally just had a really lovely time. I would highly recommend a visit! Speisekarte ansehen

We enjoy meals here. Regular visitors. Welcome needs to be little more warm. Face covering is compulsory. We all know it is govt regulation. They send you back instead of providing one if you forget to get one. It costs 25p only. They an easily provide one and ask to put money in charity box instead of sending customers back

As always the service and meal was excellent today, wish you were a little nearer to Whitchurch where we live! Friendly, attentive and professional team of staff. Too bad that the signature lamb massaman was not available to half the party that wished to order it. We were advised before orders were placed, though. Otherwise an extensive range of great dishes from which to choose. Cannot fault the dinibg experience and shall certainly return. Lovely food and great service. We came a couple of years ago and remembered a lovely atmosphere however this evening it was quite cold due to the air con and there was no music playing so definitely did not have the same atmosphere . However food still lovely and meeting friends we hadn’t seen for so long we still had a lovely evening .

Very happy to find an open restaurant In Winchester on a Monday. Many still closed on Mon Tues. Staff very friendly and efficient. However the menu descriptions and website claims did not quite live up to expectations. Some dishes were very good but two were underwhelming... the vegetarian massiman curry was dull beige with only carrots to liven it up) and under seasoned. The vegetarian Tom Yum coconut one) lacking depth of flavour and had only too large) chunks of white mushrooms in it. We will be back but with perhaps slightly lower expectations.
