"Was staying at Butlins for the week and found this place by accident! Lots of homemade vegan pies and vegan gravy. Also had 4 flavours of vegan ice cream which was amazzzzing. The owner is also a painter with lots of his work for sale. Grabbed my self an amazing painting for £10 as well. Had our 7 year old with us who is a bit of a fussy little vegan. But even he left completely satisfied which is about as rare as a solar eclipse. Highly recommended for vegan families staying at Butlins minehead. Only a 15 minute drive from the site!"

Who has ever heard of a fish and chip shop that can't take any more takeaway orders at 8pm on a Saturday night??? A strange way to run a fish and chip shop.

would they be 5* if I could! I live here and this is my favorite place! the offer of cake is brilliant, I also love the fish. They change the menu quite often and the pudding options are great.

Award winning home made pies with either chips and peas or veg and mash. Absolutely great. Eat in or take-away. A chance visit given it was the only place open on a Monday and it was worth the visit. Highly recommend.

Completely in the middle of nowhere so was pleasantly surprised when we found this place! We absolutely loved the pies, I had the curried butternut squash and coconut one so yummy with chips, peas and vegan gravy with vegan chocolate icecream for dessert

We caught “magpies” there. That was delicious ! The restaurant is stormed (and we understand why) by people who want to have fish chips/pies to take away. It's a bit annoying to have so many entries/exits while dining at the table. But hey, it was worth it! Do not accept credit card, bring cash.

The pies are absolutely fantastic, served with homemade chips or mash. The owner is very friendly and service was great. In fact, the pies are so good that we ordered takeout later the same week. However, be warned, it is very busy and it’s best to book in advance and order take-away early as we saw a lot of people turned away.

very satisfied visit to this place. there were six vegan cakes on the menu and two more on the special menu. with chips, exfoliated and engraved. the pieces were very tasty and in portions was good. there was also a selection of vegan desserts, including ice creams and sticky fabric pudding. there are a few tables that sit in both sitting and sitting in. allowed dogs. only cash

we discovered this place randomly and I noticed vegan fish n chips (banana blossom styleeee.) the service was great and we had to wait only about ten minutes. the so far, chips and mushy inherited were so delicious and made me feel as happy as I usually miss in this type of meal. also the size of the portion was good. no eating because of covid restrictions, so we can put them on the street on the beach. they also do vegan cakes. worth a visit!
