"Not sure what happened to this place, we’ve been coming here on and off since 2000 and never had a bad meal or service until tonight. Tonight (NYE) we booked a table around 7ish, several things unavailable on the menu which we were not told about until we ordered as they’d assumed we saw the notices on the door (which was held open by happy diners leaving). The service felt rushed despite the restaurant being half empty at this time, I get it was NYE and staff probably had plans but assumed an early table would be a good choice. The starters were lovely lots of chicken on the wings and the butterfly prawns although smaller than I’d assumed they’d be were plentiful and well seasoned. The mains less successful when offered seasoning, chilli oil etc the waitress walked off before we’d finished responding and 2 of the 3 pizzas were undercooked. I would’ve asked for mine to be put back in the oven as it was so doughy but, no one came back to see how food was and it was hard to attract their attention so ended up not eating the middle of my pizza. Deserts ok but the snowball doughballs just weren't right, only the top ones had flavour the rest were dry. possibly a bad choice on my part. The lemon roulade and brownie were lovely but they no longer do a chocolate ice cream. I really hope this was a one off as like I say we have never had a bad experience here before and it’s always been our trusted place for a good pizza."

It’s been a while. I think the last time we visited PE was a couple of years ago now and we were really glad we did … the restaurant itself has had a really nice facelift and their food game has really been upped with special Mention to the spicy hot ndjula dough balls , the burnt ends brisket romana and ndjula calzone which were all excellent . We came in for a bite to eat mid week lunch time. There were a few tables already sat when we arrived. Lisa who served us was amazing. Very friendly, males the experience feel special by treating everyone like they are the only thing that matters. She gets to know you and engages really well. She clearly loves her job and she is amazing at it. The food was great and the menu caters for lots of allergens. Myoartner has a dairy allergy and there is plenty of choice for her.
