First off, I'll be the first to admit that I'm a sucker for a steakHowever, after visiting this place, I was left rather frazzled.

Perfectly cooked steaks, great sauces and chips. Bit pricey especially having to pay extra for sides , nice for a treat but too much to make it a regular outing.

delicious! from the huge meat plates hanging in the refrigerator, to the selection of steak knives porter and rye know their things. hydration rump steak and the speck mac and cheese mouth side is the best I had.

I purchased vouchers for my brother and sister as a Christmas gift, and they used them in February. They said it was the best steak they had ever eaten and described their meal as delicious. They really enjoy dining there! Speisekarte ansehen

Best steak ever? Not far off. Porterhouse rare/blue ... Unbelievable charcoal flavour on the outside and beautifully cooked. Superb. The scallop starter was staggering and the bone marrow starter was delicious too. Great drinks and service too... Not the cheapest, but definitely amazing.

Fantastic steaks, exceptional service, and a wonderful wine selection. The atmosphere is ideal for a steakhouse, and I found very few flaws. This was the second-best steak I've ever had, which speaks more to the quality of the best steak than to any shortcomings here at Porter Rye. I highly recommend the filet I ordered, paired with blue cheese sauce and truffle salt pastries.

My friend and I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The service was exceptional, and our waiter provided us with plenty of great recommendations for our trip. The food was amazing, with a lot of attention to detail and a variety of flavors. We got five small dishes and two beers for under £40, which is incredible given the quality. My only comment is that the small plates were a bit smaller than I anticipated, but it was hard to mind that when the food was so delicious. Speisekarte ansehen
