"We have been coming to BAROLO for 10 years even though we no longer live in Les Lilas and it is always a pleasure to come back. Saturday evening, we celebrated Anna's tenth birthday there, ten years after celebrating her birth at the nearby maternity ward. We like the gourmet salads (with goat cheese toast for example or the delicious octopus salad), the heart-shaped children's pizza, the giant Milanese escalope, the seafood pasta and the strawberry tiramisu (very original and which deserves to be on the menu). We also like the always friendly welcome, always smiling and the waiters who listen to their customers. In short, for us Barolo is the best restaurant in Lilas, even in the world! Anna, Aurélie, Sacha and Renaud. Vegetarian options: Several adapted dishes and possibility of asking the chef to adapt a dish. Kid-friendliness: Children can choose all the pizzas on the menu, in the junior version, which is rarely the case in restaurants. Good food and desserts. Won't be able to enjoy the sun on a sunny day but you can compensate for it with some Strawberry tiramisu! Nice and friendly staff. Close to the metro

Disappointed again. My daughter ordered a plate of overcooked pasta and a bolognese sauce that was only bolognese in name. It was a plate of pasta full of water, pieces of meat colored with tomato sauce. For my part, I had decided on a pizza which was not great (I am Italian and perhaps too demanding) so I agreed not to set the bar too high. But beyond nationality and origins when we put the price we want quality. When we decide to sit at a table in a restaurant we agree to pay. In exchange we demand quality. I said what I was thinking to the waiter who replied that when there are a lot of people sometimes that happens... Too bad it happened to us. I told my daughter to finish the pasta anyw...
