Riverside - Speisekarte

All good!!! Everything was perfect!! The food staffs was great!! Would recommend to everyone! Great river view!

Waiting staff were far too keen to impress, the service was far too quick and there were too many trainees working that day. It spoilt the leisurely lunch we were hoping for.

we both had the steaks with fries and salad they were both good the service was a bit slow on the drinks and also my wife had a small glass of wine and this was charged at a glass which was very expensive we queried this but nothing was done, Speisekarte ansehen

Excellent service , staff extremely accommodating and explained the dishes and wines . Was booked for my fathers th birthday had a very lovely evening . The setting of the restaurant also adds to the ambiance . Would definitely recomend and hope to visit again .

My partner and I both ordered steaks with fries and salad during our visit. The food was good, but the service was a bit slow with our drinks. My wife also ordered a small glass of wine which was quite costly at 12.50. We inquired about the price, but no action was taken.

Very disappointed on this occasion conversation was drowned out by the saxophonist who should have positioned himself away from the diners we liked the music but it was far too loud) The portions for the salmon mousse starter was abismal and service was a combination of good and poor. We had a far better experiece last August when we came for a family lunch and as the lunch on the th was a gift from our children we felt very cheated! Speisekarte ansehen

The view from the riverside restaurant was truly beautiful, watching the sunset behind the church. This was a special occasion for a birthday and the staff seated us with a great view as requested and also provided a small desert treat on the house for the birthday boy! The staff were polite and atentative. The food itself was to die for, every bite was a taste sensation! It was worth the money for a special treat and we shall be back again!!

Extremely disappointing dining experience, served already half used bottled water, no offer to taste the wine, followed by warm white wine, trainee staff and very slow service. Refused to pay the service charge and I am afraid we will not be returning. What a shame, used to such a great place, but just not good enough customer experience , lots of other venues in Buckinghamshire to choose from and that is what we will be doing. Seriously need to get their ACT TOGETHER!!

Sadly, Riverside ,.,,,,, new nothing of our booking through your goodselves, were very rude and made us feel very unwanted, the riverside was Half empty and and could have accommodated us without a fuss, we arrived half an hour before our lunch appointment. They said they did not take bookings through open table, although did find our booking eventually,, by which time they were prepared to honour it ,,,,, but the graduation lunch had been spoilt,,,, After agreeing to let us have lunch, the staff and service could not be faulted, neither the meal, Shame about the welcome which was not acceptable at all.
