"I had the lamb chops, which were a little overcooked and scrawny. To be fair, they had a very difficult job as it was a very large party of over 30 people. So getting everything bang on is not easy on timings for the chef. I will definitely go back again as the staff and atmosphere were great. I had a wonderful experience with the two-course lunchtime special. The staff were very friendly, the ambiance was pleasant, and the Italian background music added to the atmosphere.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! I stopped by on a whim and was kindly offered a table. The service was excellent, and the staff were very polite. The food was absolutely delightful. Thank you! I’ll definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

I have booked romeos for a surprise dinner with family and friend, for my men 70th birthday. the staff was brilliant, nothing was too much annoyed, eating delicious. Although they should be closed at 16 o'clock, we stayed up to about 5 and never felt like we were forced to go. thanks. romeos to make it a special day.

"I really can't fault this village pub. We visited in early January for an evening meal, the welcome was genuine which was complimented by good food and drink. Having returned to the area to catch up with friends earlier this month, we again chose to eat here, we were not disappointed. The same pleasant welcome, really enjoyable food and good ales. Friends and their children joined us later, a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The food is varied and the steak that I had was cooked as ordered. I will not hesitate to return and it is dog friendly in the bar area. If it was not for that option we may not have visited the first time! A great village pub."

"Last time I checked this, I gave him a star and a bit of a hammer! as a result, they invited me back to try again. I must say that this time it was extraordinary. it was a regular menu. there was nothing special because they had invited me back, so I think it has greatly improved from my first visit. we shared the Thai krabbenstarter who was delicious. we had the ducks that were very nice, even if it was a bit difficult from time to time. but then the balance is often that if it is very delicate, it does not have the taste. that was very tasteful. we shared a dessert that was also delicious. full traces for what was a terrible meal with something very, very nice. I would certainly recommend the white hard."

"I never give bad reviews but great tasty meal and reasonably priced for food. Drinks were absolutely extortionate but I guess that's how they make their money! A group of 10 celebrating a birthday. They took drinks order seperate, which was strange. After telling them 2 or 3 tines we needed seperate bills as everyone wanted to pay for their own meals etc, they presented us with a jumbled up bill, which was only food. Drink was on a seperate bill, which they would not give us to work out the extra cost. Everyone added up exactly what they had and we all paid separately. They then came to our table and said that we was £9 short. This did not make sense. We asked again to see the bill, so we could work it our for ourselves and they conviently said they had lost it, so how did they know we was £9 short. Either the menu prices weren't correct or they are diddling their customers. All in all, lovely food great company but s**t hosting skills!!!!! First time there, not impressed!!! Would return BUT would tally up as we go."

"We had a wonderful dining experience at The Crown last week. The appetizers on the specials board caught our eye, and we ended up sharing lobster fish cakes, duck spring rolls, and halloumi - all of which were delicious and beautifully presented. The menu was surprisingly extensive given the current post-covid restrictions, giving us plenty of options to choose from. For our main courses, I enjoyed a flavorful and filling five spiced chicken salad, while my husband loved his spicy prawn linguine. The portions were generous, the prices were reasonable, and the dishes were served with a smile. Despite previous reviews mentioning a local crowd, we found the atmosphere to be very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for a great meal!"
