"Roscioli, one of the most famous clubs in Rome. I often found myself reading the various positive reviews and so, driven by curiosity, I booked a table for lunch. The place is characteristic because, being also a delicatessen, it has various cured meats and cheeses on display and as soon as you enter, you can smell all the scent that these products give off! Inside the restaurant there is also a cellar where there are tables and many shelves with wine of all kinds. First, my boyfriend and I started with appetizers based on cured meats (raw ham Italy vs Spain and cheeses (mixed cheeses , accompanied by a basket of various types of bread and a jar of mixed taralli, all handcrafted. Finally, we ordered a cacio e pepe. All delicious, generous portions and high quality food! Furthermore, the staff is very polite, kind and helpful, ready to answer all our questions. Conclusion? If you find yourself in Rome, a visit to Roscioli is mandatory!"

My favorite restaurant in Roma. You need to book a reservation but it is worth it. The quality of the ingredients is out of this world and the place is very charming, you can see them assembling some dishes with cold cuts. I went there after seeing it on YouTube, and the freshness of the burrata cheese was definitely different and went well with the tomatoes. The raw fish was fresh, but I didn’t notice much of a difference. I heard that the carbonara here was made in a traditional way, but the big difference was that it had more sauce and it had something like bread fried in oil instead of gizzard curry.
