"Amazing pub! The staff are very accommodating, the food is delicious, and the decor is fantastic. I give it a perfect 5/5 rating! On both of my recent visits, they went above and beyond to meet our special needs, such as providing a table suitable for a wheelchair user and seating us in a dog-friendly area. The staff were friendly, kind, and helpful throughout. They even gave our little dog some treats (he also gives it a 5/5)! And let's not forget about the delicious Sunday roast. Overall, I highly recommend this place!"

"We have been to the Sun Inn several times over the years and have always been amazed by the attentive and friendly staff. For a team so young they do deliver a mature level of service. Apart from the service the quality of food wine, presentation, ambience have all been very good. We invited friends of ours who were dining here for the first time and they too were impressed. We did have a couple of awkward moments with a forgotten order and an embarassing mix up with bills but the manager sorted it out and assured us it will not happen again. When we are in the area again we will definitely dine here."

"First the good. Nice friendly staff relatively efficient (they were busy). Good local real ale. Food nicely cooked and tasty. (Including my wife’s lamb shank-unlike previous reviewer But there was hardly any of it! Two mean very thin strips of roast beef and two smallish...roast spuds.(Extra were available at an extortionate £3.50 for 3 Unbeknown to me one of my fellow diners complained about the small portion and was given double. You thought they might offer some to the other diners. Overall we spent £300 and it was poor value."

"The service and wecome was warm and pleasant.. The ambience and open fire qas welcoming. The cocktail was nice. The starters were good. The mains were really disappointing. The chateaubriand was poor@ we have had better from Cote at home. The veg was dire, lettice with a butter topping the chips were no better than Mccain. Despite feedback the full bill was paid inc a service charge of £47 for 3 people. I will not be going back. Overpriced. Local pubs have the same seevice and much better food. London House was 10 times better. Very disappointed"

"I have to say, the pub has undergone significant changes since our last visit. We were greeted by a friendly Irish waiter named Fin, and the food was excellent. In the past, the service and food quality were average at best. However, this time, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. It seems they have revamped their staff. We ordered Spicy Bean Enchiladas and Tempeh Katsu Curry, along with Cheesy Chips, a Chocolate Cookie Sundae, and a bottle of White Wine, and everything was made perfectly."
