Absolutely love this restaurant! Food is great and atmosphere is always very pleasant. Francesco is always very helpful and makes us feel special

I went to this restaurant yesterday and was surprised by the decline in quality. The service was poor, with every aspect of our meal being incorrect. The staff then tried to insist that we had actually ordered what they brought us. The employees were extremely rude, shouting orders across the restaurant. This used to be one of our favorite places to go in Manchester, but not anymore.

Pleasant lunch spoiled by experiencing the upset on the table next to us when San Carlo could not accommodate the family as the little girl had severe celiac disease. The way this was handled by the manager was unprofessional and it is unacceptable that a restaurant group such as San Carlo cannot work with customers to deliver appropriate food. In my eyes this lowers the restaurant’s standing below many others in the city who obviously employ trained chefs rather than formulaic cooks who cannot waver from a predetermined big chain menu. The service was slightly arrogant and insincere. We arrived in the mid-afternoon and the restaurant was quiet, but the staff were too busy chatting at the bar to seat us. Throughout our visit, the service remained lackluster. The food was decent, but the staff seemed more interested in socializing with each other than providing good customer service. It's important to remember to focus on the customer. While a family who seemed to be regulars received excellent service, all customers should be treated equally. This level of service is simply not acceptable.

We walked in last Saturday night after a shopping day. We had a lot to celebrate. The host was lovely. Found us a space at the bar. My partner ordered a Hugo. The bartender told us they didn't have mint... Ok fair enough... She had it without it... But she ordered and other with the same person but someone else did it. It tastes like edelflower cordial only .. and he put lemon in it... Which does not go in a Hugo it Is line and mint .. we asked for him to he lime instead... And this arrogant ma'am did it but clearly hie ego did like it and he made us feel uncomfortable and talking about us with colleagues after it.... 4 coktails ,50 pounds, not on specs ,arrogant attitude they were more inte...

Four of us went to the restaurant at 5pm, so it was not very busy. We ordered our main dishes, three side dishes, and a garlic bread. Unfortunately, only three of the main dishes arrived, and they looked more like starters and were barely hot. My carbonara dish was an odd orange color and very salty. The fourth main dish and two side dishes were only brought out when we were halfway through our meals. The portions of roast potatoes and broccoli were extremely small. We were almost done with our meals when the side dish of fries and the garlic bread finally arrived. The waiter thought he was being kind by informing us that the service charge had not been added, but we wouldn't have paid it an... Speisekarte ansehen
