The service was exceptionally warm and friendly, and the food was delicious! I have tried many curries in my lifetime, and this one was really top-notch.

The service at this restaurant was terrible, we did not feel welcomed at all. Despite having a booking, they claimed we didn't and almost made us leave before we even got our food. On the bright side, the food was amazing. I would only recommend getting takeout from this place as it's not worth the hassle and negative energy of dining in.

Eaten previously at Savera and the food is quite good but this time it wasn’t the greatest. Chicken was chewy in places and sauces are not the nicest I’ve had but okay. Cheese naans weren’t great, not much cheese inside and the odd bit sprinkled on top. Beware it used to be bring your own alcohol but it is not anymore! A few tables got caught out by this.

Delicious food, packed well and ready on time. We ordered vegetarian dishes including paneer dishes- each was as described in terms of strength so children were able to enjoy mild dishes whilst my wife had a medium jalfrezi and I had the hot. Freshly made with fresh ingredients. Journey home was 7 minutes and food was perfect temperature to eat without faff of reheating.

I've been visiting or taking away from the Savera for 20 years and their quality is second to none. On this occasion I had the Punjabi chicken. It was superb! The chicken was prime breast not the reformed or poor quality that some places do. It was pretty hot but not so hot that you couldn't enjoy the spicing. The sundries were all nice too with a fresh complimentary side salad and various dips.

On Saturday, 29th April, we walked into the restaurant and were seated downstairs for the first time as there was a big party upstairs. The managers recognized us from past visits but were not intrusive. We ordered Poms pickles, chicken rogan, chicken begum baher balti, pilau rice, and garlic naan. The food was very fresh and tasty, although we deducted a point for the thick and doughy naan bread. Our total bill, including drinks, was £48.35.

I hate when people can’t be honest! Ordered a takeaway, after an hour rang and was told on its way! A further 25 min wait, rang again and was told, on its way, this time with complimentary red wine! Why the red wine, if it was on its way 25 mins ago? I still haven’t received my order, 90 mins later! I won’t order from here again, not because of the quality of the food as I haven’t tasted it yet, but because they can’t be honest and think they can take your hard earned money without showing an ounce of respect!!

Having not visited Savera since the first wave of Covid , I returned tonight with my partner for my birthday meal out. I'm happy to report that our chosen dishes saag paneer, Markhani dahl, vegetable Handi's Specialities and pilau rice) were all delicious. The service was friendly, the table was very nicely set and the ambience was relaxed and pleasant. The place looks like it's had a facelift since our last visit and was bright and cheery. Great to find the Savera is still a great place good food and a pleasant evening out.

Big group of uni students, everyone paid for their food individually and made sure we had paid for everything on each table. And yet at the end of the evening the manager tells us that there is £80 unaccounted for! We challenged this and each one of us showed our bank accounts and cross-checked that the same money on the bill had been taken out of our account. After showing this, the manager quickly back tracked and that number of £80 miraculously reduced to £25! Eventually we paid this amount but there was some definite tinkering around with the total bill. Don’t eat the popadoms even when they bring them out without you asking!
