"First visit based on good recommendations. Lovely air conditioned premises friendly staff. Sadly, We were very disappointed with the food. Sheekh kebabs were good portion but very spicy n “mint” sauce was very thick intense flavour of maybe coriander. Main meals ordered a keralan mango coconut delicately spiced prawn curry but, meal that arrived was green and had a pungent intense flavour no hint of delicate coconut or mango. The butter chicken was more like a spicy tikka masala. We left wondering if we’d been served someone else’s meals as food just didn’t match up with menu description of the dishes we ordered. Was very expensive. Unlikely to return. And, jug of water was room temperature should definitely be well chilled with ice in it in this hot weather."

"We spent £100 per room for our stay at this restaurant. Upon arrival, there was no staff to be found anywhere. We tried calling the number provided, but it was rejected three times. Even after texting, nobody showed up. We left and returned hours later, only to be shown to a very basic room. The bathroom was in poor condition with yellow stains around the taps, plug hole, and shower screen. The pillows were uncomfortable and gave us all headaches in the morning. The hotel was noisy both inside and outside. The food was overpriced, with fish and chips costing £13 and giving me a stomachache due to greasiness. We definitely would not choose to stay here again, even if it were free."

"A very welcome, unplanned visit one autumn afternoon whilst making our way or a walk around Cosmeston County Park: this excellent restaurant is a perfect venue for the short trip to or from the park. We booked a table online which was straightforward. Plenty of parking space. The interior is really tasteful and cosy, with the tables being well spaced. The service throughout was excellent. The lunchtime menu was wide ranging, great value, and most importantly absolutely delicious. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be going back!"

"To whom it may concern, My Wife had a lovely Fettucine Bolognese at this restaurant. Unfortunately, my Breast of Chicken turned out to be thighs and bits of the base of the chicken carcase! There was a thin sauce, water like' with mushrooms swimming therein....I was so appalled I didn't complain, although when I paid the bill, my wife said she was happy with her meal but the other one was disappointing. I feel so angry about the meal I was given that I would like others to decide whether the Breast of chicken I was expecting is something they would like to experience. If I had started to explain my disappointment to the Staff, my anger management classes would have to be cancelled! I should have made a big scene about this, but that's not my thing. Far better to inform future customers to avoid this dish. Arrived on time for our pre-booked table our order was taken at the'meals' arrived minutes later, Verryy slowww serviccce!!!!!!!! Please have second thoughts about this Taste of Italy' it really isn't worth the visit. I don't think we will be returning. I never bother to comment unfavourably, normally, but I feel so strongly about this particular experience. from Mr Very disappointed."

"Food was excellent, hubbie had battered cod and chips, cod was so big it filled the plate, chips came in a seperate bowl. I had chilli con carne, which was lovely but far too large for me. I asked waitress about the child's menu, I explained that I had had my stomach removed due to cancer and couldn't eat a full adult meal. She said owners would not let any adult have a child's meal , that they would rather throw the remaining food away. There were a lot of older customers who had left a good portion of their lunch because of the size."
