"My family and I had dinner at Mamma Mia and I was impressed with the wide variety of options on the menu, especially since I have pescatarian dietary requirements. We all enjoyed a starter and main course, and each dish was bursting with flavor. The standout dish was the Lesia Special Pizza, which was simply phenomenal. The attention to detail in the decor and the authentic Italian atmosphere made for a clean and inviting dining experience. The staff and owner were attentive and took great care of us throughout the entire night. I highly recommend Mamma Mia and look forward to returning. In my opinion, it's the best Italian restaurant around"

"We had a wonderful experience at this charming inn while visiting the standing stones, which were unfortunately closed so we couldn’t stop for a bite to eat. The service was attentive, and all the staff were pleasant and cheerful. When our food arrived, it was hot and plentiful. I ordered the mixed grill, which was a generous and delicious portion, and the small tomato soup was exceptionally flavorful – better than what I've had at some 5-star hotels! The restaurant and restrooms were impeccably clean, and I enjoyed a strong cup of coffee to finish off the meal. We would definitely return if we visit the standing stones again when they reopen or if we are in the area. Thank you for the hospitality!"

"A lovely meal was had at the Shepards rest in Westhill. Me and a few friends live in the local area and this is definitely the best restaurant in the area. Our server Lauren was very helpful and an asset to the restaurant with her wonderful customer service. Me and my friends all had burgers and all of our specific’s were met with ease and the food was served in time. We all enjoyed our beers and gins that we ordered. Reasonably priced and the food quality was perfect if not better than expected for a local pub and grill. Been here many times before and have had a great experience each time. I tend to recommend this place to anyone that I meet that is visiting Westhill and there surrounding area. Keep up the good work."

"When we arrived at The Village Hotel Aberdeen we were put in a lovely room with a super king size bed, lovely decor and it was lovely and clean. We stayed the first night in this room, the bed was extremely comfortable and a very good size. The problem was I have mobility difficulties and there was a bath in the bathroom. I went to reception to see if they could do anything, the staff were very friendly and helpful and changed our room to an accessible room. I really wish we hadn't changed room! The accessible room was awful! The bed was a small double and the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, I woke every hour through the night with back pain, as did my partner. The room decor was dingy and the carpet was stained, there were marks on the sheets and the TV was much smaller than the TV in the original room. Why does the accessible room not have the same standards as a normal room? I was appauled. They really should improve the standard of the accessible room, it is unfair that people that need to use these rooms have to compromise on comfort and luxury. On a positive note, the staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly, the breakfast and evening meal were very delicious, although quite expensive. The breakfast is a buffet style with lots of choice. The evening meals have a good size portion and are very yummy. There is limited room service available between 5pm and 9:30pm. The bar was well stocked, although some of the drinks on tap were not available because the pumps were broken. The bar prices are quite expensive... £10.60 for a pint of larger and a Jack Daniels with diet Coke. My overall opinion is that if you are staying in a standard king size room then I would recommend, but if you are staying in an accessible room avoid unless you want a bad back!"

"I went as a solo diner (my forst time so it was daunting especially in a new area! But the staff were very accommodating and didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all! Service was prompt (I hesitate to say almost too prompt , and the food was lovely. I'd never considered scallops, black pudding and apple sauce being a combo I needed in my life but it will now become a staple for those fancy dinners. The steak and ale pie was delicious and beyond filling i couldn't fit dessert in, so finished with a coffee instead. As I say I went solo and it was great I'll be going back with others at some point for sure!
