"We visited the restaurant on Saturday 20 July. It is not far from the Mercat Central, in a less tourist street, and is frequented by Spanish people. Warm welcome and excellent service by the owner. We had the lunch of the day: puerro a la vinagreta suave de mostaza con anchoa, pasta with salmon, construcción al chocolate blanco, everything very good. White wine by the glass, Oro, recommended by the owner, very pleasant. We paid 76€ for 4 people, excellent value for the money. Conclusion : highly recommended!"

Just enjoyed a fabulous tasting menu at Restaurante Shiraz in Calle Conquista. A wonderful menu of varied, delicious plates. All served by the very friendly Elliot. A real family affair with mum dad in the kitchen. Fantastic food and unbelievably good value! We have eaten tasting menus all over the place, but have never had such a good one at such a reasonable price. All in all, brilliant. If you are in Valencia, you must go.

Good location, just off Plaza Tossal at the end of Calle Cabelleros. The lunch menu offers something a little different from standard Spanish restaurants. We liked this so much we returned after eating here in March, just before lockdown. The beer is homemade, bottle conditioned. Very nice and again, different from mass produced fizzy, chemical loaded stuff in other places. Very attentive owner/waiter, who helped us store our hire bikes while we ate. Will return for a 3rd time and more...
