Food was unusually disappointing. Service usually is below average but tonight it was very disappointing. The front of house had no personality and I got the felling that he couldn't care less, we booked for 6.30 when we arrived we were told there was no table available with no explanation or apology. A young waiter and waitress were working hard but the rest seem had a great ability to avoid eye contact.

Travelled down to Souters for lunch as we used to go to Costleys Cochrane Inn which has now closed. Cajun chicken was lively, just how I remember it as was pasta dish. Sticky toffee pudding and lemon meringue pie were lively too. Plenty of staff and drinks reasonably priced. Only downfall was that there was no toilet paper in the toilets. Toilet areas really need upgrading and modernised to match the nice restaurant as old, stained and very poor and tatty overall. Speisekarte ansehen
