Star Rock Cafe - Speisekarte

Had amazing visit to this place. Staff really friendly and made you feel very welcome. Food excellent value. Nothing was too much trouble will definitely be back on the next trip to Lille. Location was fantastic.

Had the platter . . .superb value for money and excellent food.. . .would go between two if you wanted it to but since I was hungry I just about finished it myself, burger was excellent too.....plenty of locals in which isn't a bad sign for a burger joint.

Great place at Downtown Lille...I went there several times, tried different stuff (burgers, meat, salads, etc..), I always enjoyed it.Awesome food (order a burger you won't miss..!!), nice and friendly staff, live Rock n' roll music on Fridays, affordable prices.. Ate here on a France football night. We are Not football fans.Place was packed.We loved the layout and the atmosphere. Service was great and didn't have to wait long for food, which was good.Staff were "on the ball' (oops), really good. No trouble either, enough English spoken. Worth going just to look at guitars, photos and stuff.Great evening.

We eat here at around 10PM on a saturday evening. The waiter was very nice and was keen to speak english with us. Our french was a bit better then his english (im nativ swiss german). Also the chef of the house was a nice guy. The burger was soso, but the frites were really good. And also dessert was very good. They have leffe beer, i like it very mutch.

Service - no words. Only a few customers around, but successfully forgot us. Waiting for 50 mins. Then the food comes, looking good. Pity that we ordered the bagel with salmon, not chicken. Brilliantly screwed up our day as lunch time has ended and the other restaurants are closed until 6-7 pm. As for the location: they should learn how to write names of rock legends. I popped out for a quick bite to eat. Spotted the Star Rock Cafe, thought that'll be ok how hard is it to screw up a burger and fries. Well, if that were an Olympic sport this 'restaurant' would get a gold! Cold, limp fries and a chicken burger that had a few strips of chicken. None of it hot and the service was colder. Asked if I wanted a desert, no thanks just the bill. That took almost 15 mins to arrive. Suffice it to say I'll not be returning or recommending the place!

Went here for lunch today on July 14th... As it's the national day in France, many other places were open.I was craving for a Tartare and I wasn't disappointed, 200gr of decent quality meat.... the highlight are the fries and the beer is nicely chilled.The food came pretty quickly and was tasty....Bit pricey but I guess that's because they've invested in the very American deco which is warm and welcoming.Staff are friendly but I had to ask twice for the bill which was a shame.Wouldn't be rushing to go back there but if you're in the area than why not...

Looked really busy outside and decent menu. Very big interior with large screen. Waited 20 mins to be served and in the end went to bar to order. After another 10 mins of waiting and a large queue of people forming (at least 10) I spoke to what I assume to be the owner. Ordered a drink that came very slowly and I found out that most things on the menu were off. Turned out there were only 2 staff members and not enough glasses for everyone. Also ran out of beer and only choice was Leffe. Which in fairness was good, if a little overpriced at €6.50. In the near hour we were there saw at least 50 people arrive, sit down and then leave after no service. Owner was v apologetic and clearly hadn't c... Speisekarte ansehen
