Ive came here a few times over the years, food and service has always been spot on! As there isnt much choice for resturants in bishops cleeve, this is the best place to come for a evening sit down meal and they also do takeaways!

Been visiting this restaurant for years , great for family meals, nights out with the girls or with your better half. Pete and the staff are good, food really good value and very tasty. Take always are same high standard. Service is good. This is a good quality local Indian restaurant.

Used the takeaway service, food was lukewarm and pretty tasteless. My chicken tikka masala was disappointing just very bland and wife's passanda tasted pretty much the same. They forgot the poppadoms from the order although didn't charge for them. Extremely disappointed and would use somewhere else in the future. Speisekarte ansehen

We could not get a parking space near our first choice of a restaurant so 'googled ' Indian Eateries and found this one. A 20-minute drive but what a treat. The atmosphere was lovely, the staff was attentive and the food was sublime. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I only wish we lived a lot nearer and could visit again.

We ordered takeout and only realized after paying that the price was much higher than what was listed on their online menu. When we brought this up, we were told to ignore the online menu. I also noticed that ordering from them through Just Eat is much cheaper. I found this to be poor service. The food was decent, not amazing but not bad either.

Had been here before with my grand-daughter and a friend ,and had a great meal plus excellent service. This time was totallly different I was cold when we arrived bythe time we left I was freezing. Even the so called waiter kept his coat on. Food was great but the service when we got it was appalling,will be going to our usual Indian in future, where we will at least be valued as customers. I ordered takeout this evening from a restaurant located very close to where I am staying. However, when we arrived home (just 2 minutes away by car), the food was surprisingly cold. The chicken tikka seemed to be only seasoned with dry spices, cooked whole and then sliced. It lacked flavor and was overall disappointing, especially considering the high price. I won't be returning or recommending this restaurant in the future.

Myself and a group of friends visited Friday evening, from the moment we arrived we were treated terribly. Our one friend is pregnant and asked for a white wine spritzer to enjoy with her meal, from this moment on ‘Pete’ made us feel incredibly uncomfortable, he shouted at our friend for ordering a drink whilst pregnant (it was one spritzer and as people know you can have a light drink when pregnant) it then went from bad to worse and we didn’t get our food for 1.5 hours, the chicken was then very chewy with lots of blood still there. Since moving to Bishops Cleeve* almost two years ago I have eaten here many times. Usually I have chosen the chicken nagga, because it is so good I've not felt inclined to try anything else. (Warning: although not a vindaloo it might be too hot for some tastes. Others who have accompanied me to the restaurant have not been as boring as I and have enjoyed a variety of other dishes. The last time I visited I thought I would, for a change, try the lamb madras. The sauce was very tasty but the meat was obviously lamb tikka.
