Sunday Roast was excellent. Service was friendly professional. Top tip get there early so you don’t have to sit by the front door or the ‘washroom’ door. A lovely experience all round.

Fantastic food, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. Service was second to none. Very helpful and friendly staff. A great little restaurant burning log fire creates a Fantastic intimate experience.

Very enjoyable dinner. I was on my own and the staff were attentive but not overly so, and even offered to turn off the background music in case it was distracting me from my book. The food was excellent (the sauce accompanying the duck especially tasty) as was the wine which accompanied it. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

absolutely fantastic eating wonderful service from the beautiful friendly young lady. so a great sound that we walk there two nights. nothing too much annoying supplies the chef teller of so delicious, well presented food that they do not want to stop it. 4 of us in the 1st night 5 of us in the 2nd night, all dressed with different who came out, pissing hot, all the time.

we have gone here dozens of paints while visiting the mezban indians next door, were always busy so they always wanted to try. friends of us had booked it for us for the jubiläum last night. wow wow, gloucestershire as a whole lacks good tradition english food not sold on a massive chain scale, the chef is also his fine love to detail with prevention speaks for himself along with the taste that personal working was very welcoming, we can not wait to go back and try more from the menu, there is an old saying my dad always said they are paying for

If visiting this quaint town we would highly recommend this cozy family run restaurant. Warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Very accommodating regarding a choice of where we would like to be seated. A very homely quirky decor which gave a wonderful ambience. Gorgeous open fire) All members of staff were consistently attentive without being over bearing. Food! Wow! Wow! Wow! outstanding, my partner I both had the garlic tiger prawns to start exceptional flavours. 1 seabass 1 belly pork meal served with an assortment of vegetables which were all cooked perfectly flavoursome.

The food here is excellent, all cooked perfectly with great presentation. The staff are very professional and have great knowledge of the menu and although there was only 2 members of staff serving, they done extremely well with a full restaurant. There was 12 of us and there was no mistakes from the kitchen and all the food came out at the same time. It has a cosy, warm atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place and will definately return again. Me and my partner had the chicken breast with mashed potatoes, vegetables with creamy mushrooms and dijon mustard sauce. Other dishes to recommend were the rump of lamb and the salmon. In fact, everyone was happy with their food.
