Was kinda sad I didn’t get to order the asparagus dishes even though it was in season- waitress said they’re changing the menu this week

Unterhaltsames Restaurant, schöne Sitzgelegenheiten im Freien und authentische lokale Küche. Die Preise sind angemessen, der Service ist sehr gut. Ein lustiger Abend!!

Our first meal in Luzern. Managed to sit outside on a bright spring day with excellent views of the river. Everything that we ordered was delicious. Will definitely return here if we’re back in Luzern.

Wonderful outside seating right beside the Weir of the River Truss with its gushing frothy water falling to the lower flow. If you can get a table right at the Riverside fence the view is even more enjoyable. The food is good and the service friendly

In einer Seitengasse an der Reuss gelegen. Charmantes Interieur. Sehr gut geschultes und nettes, junges Personal. Es findet sich eine Vielzahl an originellen Innerschweizer Speisen, welche schön präsentiert und in ausgezeichneter Qualität serviert werden. Die Weinpreise sind an der oberen Grenze

Had the loveliest dining experience at this restaurant!! My husband loved his lamb stew (dark, hearty) and would definitely recommend the Luzern veal pastry (especially if you’re a fan of mushroom). Very nice interiors and design but not stuffy nor pretentious. The sweet spot of casual dining. Highly recommend. Excellent service.

Es ist ja schon erstaunlich, was wir als Luzerner und Luzernerin in Luzern erleben! Ein Mittagessen in einem Restaurant am Mühleplatz mit einem Personal OHNE Lächeln und sonst Ohne. Auf der anderen Reussseite, eben im Rest. Taube, das pure Gegenteil: ein herzliches Lachen mit allem Drum und Dran. Wir haben einen feinen Kaffee mit einem hervorragenden Grappa aus dem Fass genossen. Bravo

Contemplated between this restaurant and another before coming in here, again for dinner after being turned away when we went for lunch. do note that it’s better to make reservations prior to going, it was full house by 7pm on a Friday night. Also note that they are closed at 2pm and reopens at 6pm suggests that the management updates their operating hours based on this since it’s not reflected.

Restaurant with traditional Swiss cuisine. Not many vegetarian options hence I've struggled to choose but the waitress was very helpful and kindly advised me what to get. Food was flavourful but a bit overwhelming for my taste. The entree white veggies soup was delicate and perfect as a starter. On the other hand my main cheese tart was too heavy. I don't think I would come back, but I'd recommend it for someone who eats meat and wants to try local flavors. The quality is really good. Plus they are pet friendly and let you inside with your pupil, offer them a bowl of water.
