Saw it just opened last week and decide to check it out. The foods are amazing. Very nice presented, good portion and good price. My family all enjoyed it. The proper Thai flavour.

I tried calling for 3 hours to make a reservation but couldn't get through, the phone just kept ringing with no answer. I even visited the restaurant twice in the afternoon, but it was closed. Despite trying other restaurants in Lichfield without a reservation, it was impossible.

I am saddened to report that this restaurant has closed its doors. It is a disappointment as the food was excellent. Passing by the location recently, I noticed that the signage has been removed and the restaurant is now empty with paper covering the windows. It is unfortunate that there are no more smiles to be seen.

A pleasant surprise! It was our first time visiting this restaurant, the food was freshly prepared and tasty. We have tried few different Thai restaurants, we would say this is the best in term of food and price. The service was very good as well. We highly recommend this place to anyone who is interested in real Thai food and we are definitely going back. Speisekarte ansehen

This place doesn't look great from outside but interior was nice modern. Food was absolutely lush. I had duck spring rolls (fab portion, pictured) followed by masaman chicken out of this world!! Rice portions quite small though. Ordered a sticky rice (tiny) a chicken fried rice for our 5 year old thinking we can have half (at £8.50) but was like a kids portion anyway! Defo go again though as flavours were amazing. Good price apart from rice.

We visited Lichfield to see and draw the Cathedral. As it was wet and miserable when we arrived, we scouted around for some grub. Thai Smile looked welcoming and the menu looked good too. We was tempted by the buffet option but went for a set meal instead. Food was great and the service was awesome. The chef was lovely and very attentive. I noted her artistic flair and charisma. Which also showed in the beautiful intricate flowers that she made from carrots, turnips and whatever else she could get hold of. She even offered to teach the technique to me the next time I visit. I recommend a visit to this hidden gem. I wish them all the best in developing their business.

As all my colleagues had returned home and I had one night on my own I headed to this Thai restuarant as my colleagues are not keen on Thai. First up had a choice between the buffet or the main menu. Buffet menu looked good but decided on Tempura Prawns followed by Duck curry with tomatoe, pineapple and grape with egg fried rice. I was brought some Thai prawn crackers with a sweet chili dipping sauce. The crackers had a lovely texture and the sauce had a nice little kick. The prawns were delicious with a lovely light batter and good chilli dipping sauce. The duck curry had a wonderful sweetish taste with a gentle kick, The duck was lovely and tender.
