The Alma Inn - Speisekarte

Knew the Alma was near Cottonstones church where my grandparents are buried, so was idea to pop in for a meal. Good and service very good. Forgotten how narrow the roads were to get to it!

amazing outside area, which is designed for an interior design. the kneipe offers landscape views and a varied menu, which after eating is many qualitatiw. many seats, good for large groups

I asked for extra chilli on my crab linguine, but got it on padron peppers and olives I think! Crab linguine was a disappointment, soggy and smelt fishy. Pizza was soggy and undercooked. Shame. Lovely views.

A great fine with lovely views, good food and friendly staff too. Lots of seating options, restaurant, bar, marquee and outside. Dog friendly too. Food vans open in the summer with outside bar, grill and toastie vans. We'll be back to try them out.

we visited a family birthday, a mixed party with small children. we all enjoyed the experience that eating and drinking were excellent, we all had something different and they were all delicious. the staff was friendly and helpful, we will definitely be back

2.5 hour walk here with my tent on my back and my dog in tow. Absolutely worth it. Staff are a delight, Matt and Siobhan were very friendly efficient and accommodating. Matt is very approachable. Lovely lad. Give him some credit please. Had the fillet gnocchi which I shared with my dog and it was delightful. Fair cost and good portion. Great scenery wine and beer. Well worth a treck. on the hill with magnificent view. many outdoor seating and parking spaces. huge pavilion restaurant with a great atmosphere. a good food and drink menu, all staff are very friendly and polite the rooms only 5 are well presented and very comfortable with everything they need for a pleasant stay. recommend the breakfast freshly cooked to order when they take the bed, breakfast lunch deal, they get £30 from their dinner bill, which is very good.

Starters were good, but mains were a Huge let down. Husband ordered a Beef Roast Dinner, which included one roast potato, one carrot, one parsnip and a bit of green veg! Would at least expect mash too with one measly roast potato! I ordered a rump steak which was ok, but the accompanying chips in the pot was only half full! We had to request cutlery for both starter and mains, which were just thrown onto the table with no serviettes! Had to get up and find our own! Service was terrible, some training is needed. Such a shame as it’s a lovely place for drinks, but will not return for food again!

This restaurant is in beautiful settings overlooking the countryside and feels lovely on a summer evening eating here. I'd heard it was good so had high expectations. The only reason it lost a point was when we arrived the two servers looked at us and ignored us. Luckily another member of staff saw us and helped us. There are a few different eating areas. We opted for the indoor one rather than the outdoor part. I had the mushroom and truffle oil pizza and I honestly think I've not enjoyed a pizza that much since visiting Italy. I could easily eat it every day. I had the tiramisu for dessert and that was nice too. I enjoyed their wine also. I would definitely go again and wouldn't be put off...
