Great little pub! Sunday roast was great and staff were very accommodating. Will definitely return.

Amazing food, great selection of drinks, and Charly and Jo are amazing hosts. Cannot recommend enough! Also the Sunday roasts are incredible!!

Extremely nice food, the Fish and Chips (haddock) was so moist and tender, served with chip shop curry sauce. Friendly staff. Nice pub, recommended Speisekarte ansehen

Can I say thank you so much to all of the staff at The Bell for such a lovely afternoon yesterday. Not only was the food amazing but the staff were so welcoming and attentive! With two young children they couldn’t do enough to help (colouring books, high chair, smaller portions to name just a few). We all had a lovely time and will definitely be back soon! The cosiest and most welcoming pub we’ve been in for ages!

Caerleon was recommended to go tonn from the hotel we were staying at so looked up The Bell, menu sounded good and we were not disappointed. Real cider on tap, warm friendly welcome by every member of staff, food was amazing, the scotch egg starter was one of the best I've had in a very long time, all home cooked food, delicious and nothing too much trouble. Staff were just lovely, young bubbly and very attentive, landlord or manager, not sure who he.was, was a breath of fresh air, smiling, chatty. Had a lovely evening, thank you all so much

I can honestly say that I not only welcome this place, but find a home and certainly an encouraging change to caerleon. it is like a step back in the time when they do not feel embarrassing to go alone as a female to a public house. the personal is second to not and the owners really make them welcome no matter what the situation. eating is the best thing I had in a very long time and the priority must be to increase the game as this place will certainly give them a run for their money. what should I say? absolutely perfect! charly and jo have done something great with the beak! felt so welcome, and the hospitality was excellent! the personal is so friendly and sweet, eating was also lavish, but the main reason we went was in birthday memory of my favorite murphy, we had the doggy menu for magnus (murphys brother) and he ate it with gusto, and the birthday cake and the map for murphy was just the most amazing touch of all time! each with a dog should definitely treat them to the Doggy menu and treat themselves with the beautiful food. already now we plan our next visit thanks to them all again for a beautiful evening xxx

Lured here by friends who had a special of Rabbit ways we were in awe of a place with such imaginative and tasty fare.Having had the cider infused scotch eggs on a previous visit we all four us opted for the starter of crispy belly pork and black pudding terrine with mushroom ketchup devine!Mains of whole roasted seabass with lava bread and cockle butter were exceptional as was the perfectly cooked ribeye steak and the chicken kiev.After a breather, the pigs that we are, we followed with sticky toffee pudding, cheesecake and a couple cheese boards.Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive.Hoping to make this a regular event.(we'll also being checking out their Sunday dinners too

what a scum! I myself, with my husband and our young daughter, visited here this afternoon. our first time, since we only moved to caerleon this year in the january. (so was nice to find and visit one of our local pubs. a so nice warm welcome from charly and her personal and natural harry (one of charly jo’s furbabies. we had eat, from there beautiful menu with a good selection of foods for choice. so it was nice to see different meal times for a change. the food was homemade fresh kitchen. including homemade ice that is fab. we all enjoyed our eating, not complaining. good selection of beer, ales and apple wines as a whole I will definitely come back here and tell friends family when they v...
