"We arrived early for our reservation, but seated promptly. It was early in the evening so we had the restaurant to ourselves, which was lucky as we have a noisy toddler in tow. The lady serving us, Gemma was very helpful and friendly. We decided to go with the seafood platter to share and other sides. There was a children's menu available, but the boys also enjoy seafood so they had bits from our platter as well as chips and garlic bread. Food was lovely and service was friendly. We did wonder however for a sharing platter for 2, there should have been a crab each. The substituted curried mussels over the anchovies were a little disappointing as we didn't quite enjoy the flavour. Overall it was a lovely experience. "The restaurant is in an excellent location with a beautiful sea view. The food was amazing, the best Thai cuisine we have had in a long time. My dad even said it was as good as the Thai food he had in Thailand. The Thai curry and rice cost approximately £16, which is great value compared to another seafront restaurant selling fish and chips for £18. They also have a kids menu available. The ambience is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is very clean and child and dog friendly. We will definitely be returning. Even the coffee and hot chocolate are worth stopping in for."

"The owner of this establishment almost ran me over in the street today near my home whilst driving his car at an unacceptable speed. He reversed his car back to shout at me and then did a full loop of the town to come back and shout at me again 5 minutes later whilst I was chatting to a gentleman who had visited Lyme Regis to see the house that he was born in for what he said would be the last time. Someone I had never met before. We shared lovely conversation and hugs. The owner of LBK on his second run up my street swore at me, told me to look at his private number plate on his car (LBK whatever) and told me not to go to the restaurant again. Considering that I live in Lyme Regis and support his business all year, dining there most Sundays (even when the tourists have left for the winter) how dare he behave in such a manner. Not acceptable. I would strongly recommend that nobody frequents LBK if this is the way that one will be treated. I am beyond disgusted."

"This is by far the best pizza I have ever tasted! I couldn't find any faults with it at all. The pizza was incredibly delicious, the staff were very friendly, and the service was fast. We dined here twice during our vacation and also got takeout once, and the quality was consistently amazing. I was particularly impressed with the takeout service - I called ahead and was able to pick up my pizza within 10 minutes. However, I can imagine that larger orders or during busy times might take longer. Keep in mind that the restaurant can get very busy, so I recommend booking a table in advance if you plan on dining in the evening. We walked in without a booking for lunch and had no issues. I highly recommend this restaurant - it's a must-visit if you're in Lyme Regis!"
