"Came for Saturday lunch to try out as we had been to the Dukes head down the road. We tried sitting outside but the seats were so low and not very comfortable so went inside to eat instead. Waiters aftershave a bit over powering but staff very good. Both my partner had a hankering for fish and chips. Not quite as good as the Dukes head but still very nice. Fish did not seem as plump but the batter was lovely and crispy."

Just had a lovely 3 course lunch. Very reasonably priced, really nice steak sandwich, and friendly professional service in a nicely presented pub. Couldn’t ask for more and my son was paying!!
