"Came for Saturday lunch to try out as we had been to the Dukes head down the road. We tried sitting outside but the seats were so low and not very comfortable so went inside to eat instead. Waiters aftershave a bit over powering but staff very good. Both my partner had a hankering for fish and chips. Not quite as good as the Dukes head but still very nice. Fish did not seem as plump but the batter was lovely and crispy."

Second time we’ve been here and have to say we love it here,great food and a good selection of drinks,table service was brilliant especially by our waiters and especially Harry,thank you Blue Anchor would definitely recommend and will definitely return and soon hopefully.

Lack of staff and obviously because I was a single eater decided that I wasn't worth spending any attention on. Left waiting, and waitress honestly couldnt say if I could have a table. Completely flustered and then got the hump when i asked if there's a table available. Do not go if the sun's shining they can't cope. I definitely won't be back. So rude.
