"Lucky enough to get a table for Sunday Lunch 23rd August. Restaurant had well spaced tables with decorative room dividers in between each table- which made it feel safe and really cosy. Staff very attentive, and service was prompt. No queues at the Carvery as the waitresses ensured only diners eating together went up together which ensured social distancing from other diners. Selection of food on offer was plentiful and piping hot. Can recommend the Garlic Mushrooms to start- melted on the tongue. The Beef was cooked perfectly as were all the vegtables- our favourite was the creamed mashed potatoes- we take our hat off to the chef for their recipe and technique. Lashings of real gravy just topped it all off. Well done to the owners and staff of this beautiful public house for creating a safe environment in which to enjoy fine food. This is only the second time we have eaten here but it certainly will not be our last. Julie and Zoe"

I celebrated New Year's Eve with friends at the Blue Bell, and as always, the service was excellent. The entertainment was delightful, and we enjoyed a complimentary buffet around 12:10 AM. It was a fantastic night at a wonderful venue!

visited a few months ago and eating was not too big! I thought we could come back when we heard there was a new cook! the food was absolutely fantastic! had just fallen the lamb and the meat. the maische was beautiful and creamy! parter had a burger who looked amazing! the chips were perfectly cooked! definitely recommend! thanks to the chefs!
