The Boathouse Fisheries

Visited Sat 27 March, excellent Rock ,chips, bought some cockles and was gifted some salmon croute, lovely people, fish fresh and selection products to die for. Will visit again! Thanks, made my day, my best, Mark

We recommend going to the Boathouse 100% for your fish everything is so fresh. They do the best fish and chips for miles around. They have a few tables inside. The service is fantastic from all the staff. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at the Boathouse. I bought some fresh salmon and lemon sole to cook at home, and also tried their amazing seafood tagliatelle for lunch. I feel so lucky to live close enough to enjoy such fantastic seafood. Speisekarte ansehen

On the way home from a drive along the coast we stopped off at The Boathouse Fisheries. Great selection of fresh fish and seafood, and very friendly and helpful service!We bought monkfish, scallops, delicious whelks, dressed crab , crab fritters and a lovely slice of salmon quiche.We’ll be back!

Well what can I say the Boathouse fisheries you could not wish for fresher fish cooked fresh from the wet fish counter and always cooked to perfection the chips are also great. We recommend going to the Boathouse fisheries 100% you won't be disappointed. The staff are always great very friendly and helpful.

The Boathouse does the most amazing selection of fish to buy and also has the most amazing prawns cooked in chilli jam I've ever had. The fish finger baguette is also home made cod in batter taking your average fish finger to another level SO GOOD. 5 stars to The Boathouse and the amazing family that run it now. Thank you. Although we weren't able to sit down and dine (due to you-know-what), the Boathouse still prepares delicious seafood meals to take out (and eat on the beach which is 5 minutes away), and its fresh seafood made us realise just how poor supermarket-bought alternatives are in comparison. We're seriously considering driving down from London just to buy the seafood!

During the lockdown we’ve had a delivery from the boathouse and the service was excellent. We’ve used the fish shop since it opened and the fish is always of the highest quality and the staff always very pleasant. It’s just what we needed in SMB/Dymchurch. We have used both the delivery service and personal shopping. Looking forward to stocking up again this week.

I used to use these guys when they were based in Hythe and if anything they've got better. The fish from the counter is 1st class and you can ask them to get certain items in for you if they're not usually stocked. The little seating area is not that big, but the food won't take long to devour when it's put in front of you! Even simple dishes like whitebait are well executed, with great tartare sauce and a plentiful salad garnish and lovely salad dressing. If you're off to the beach in Dymchurch or New Romney, they're well worth a visit. I travel from Hythe (normally by bike) to get fish from there as it's the best around here by a mile.
