The Boulevard - Speisekarte

This is the coziest restaurant in South Croydon! The food is delicious and the service is excellent and friendly. A good experience doesn't require much, just a small menu with high-quality food and friendly service. I will definitely be returning!

I really enjoyed my starter and main but service could have been a little bit faster. It was the first Saturday back for inside dining after lockdown 3 or 4 (I forget how many) and as it was my Birthday I normally would have had dessert too but it was getting late and hubby had to be up early!

I was blown away by my first visit to this restaurant! The service was excellent, even on a midweek day. The menu had a great variety and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable compared to other restaurants I've been to. The restaurant was clean and had a fantastic atmosphere. I will definitely be returning.

At last we all got together. The food was lovely, value for money and service excellent. The only disappointment was that none of the staff were wearing masks which I am sure is compulsorily, especially as they were coming in between us with the food. This. Made us feel uncomfortable which was a shame as it was the first catch up we have had since being lockdowned.

I went to the Boulevard on Saturday to have lunch with my friend. Had a lovely meal the rib eye steak and pepper corn sauce is the best every. The staff were friendly as usual, and we were given a glass of lemon liquor as a drink from the manager we go there a lot and the food has always been lovely Keep up the good work I celebrated my 60th Birthday there 9 years ago and hopefully will celebrate my 70th next May.

Visited 18/8 during eat out scheme. But this restaurant is excellent value anytime without discounts. Our great local which has been there many years and seen other restaurants come and go, so is an absolute goldmine. No frills tasty wholesome food. Great prices good service. Mr Mrs Boulvard always give you a warm welcome and have time for chat with their customers. Restaurant doesn’t change much and that’s how we all like it. Well done all.

I have eaten at this restaurant for many years, both with a friend for company or for a family celebration this occasion was for a little Saturday afternoon treat. The food was as good as usual value for money and tasty. The restaurant is open and bright, the autumn sun shone thro the windows. Had a nice bottle of wine, and, a limoncello courtesy of the manager, who didn't try to rush us while we chatted away. A pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

We met friends at The Boulevard following our year of lockdowns and can't praise the restaurant highly enough. We had a great evening! The menu is packed with choice but not overly confusing containing something for everyone. Delicious food, really reasonable prices, lovely wine, really lovely staff it was the best evening out in a long time, all the more enjoyable because it reminded us what we had been missing. Thank you Boulevard, great service.

This restaurant came highly recommended as a pleasant and affordable dining option. However, our first impression was less than welcoming, with a rushed and abrupt greeting. As frequent diners who are particular about service and food quality, we were disappointed. The Duck pâté lacked any duck flavor and resembled more of a vegetable terrine, served with an unexpected Sweet Chilli sauce. The Chicken Milanese appeared to be pre-packaged, coated in orangey yellow breadcrumbs with no vegetables in sight, but an abundance of chips.
