"First time visit, and a great pleasure it has been the food was fresh, home cooked and very tasty. I had a Steak and Stilton Pie and it has to be perhaps one of the best pies (slice of) that I 've ever had. Other meals were all well received, with fresh veg dishes on the table centres to help yourself. We visited on a Tuesday lunchtime and were surprised how busy it was, so booking highly advised as we saw at least one 'walk in ' turned away due to tables all booked."

Absolutely fabulous, the food is absolutely fab,so much choice , the waitress was very pleasant. I advise to book as when we got there all the tables had reserved on them but luckily we were one of them lol.

Quiet Tuesday evening. Only other customers had just finished a meal. We were too late to order food but that was fine. There were 10 of us ordered drinks and snacks but as the time was approaching 9pm we were more of less ushered out. Stale smelling pub. Speisekarte ansehen

A great little hearty local pub, serving great tasting drinks and even better tasting food. When I ask for something of a particular flavour, I expect to taste it. So when my peppered steak pie arrived. IT DELIVERED!! and all for a very fair price too Highly reccomend.

This pub and restaurant is absolutely charming. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. They went above and beyond to make our experience special. A nice surprise was the beautiful garden area in the back of the pub. Overall, it was a wonderful day of celebration. Thank you.
