The Butchers Arms - Speisekarte

We had a family Sunday lunch there. Staff were very helpful and the food was outstanding. One of the best pub lunches I’ve had in ages.

I had a nice meal for Mother's Day with my family. the food was delicious and we were very well sought after, although they could clearly see that the personal was understated and all of us were walking around. thanks to all for a beautiful meal with my family

came with a large group of friends for Sunday dinner as part of a birthday weekend in the opposite. it was recommended to come here and we all enjoyed it very much. we received a warm greeting, all the tables were ready for us and quality. food was exceptional. would definitely return if

What a wonderful place to eat with our small Norfolk terrier we were welcomed and ate in the bar. The food was excellent steak cooked to perfection and the service couldn’t be faulted. Great advice on red routes for the mountain bike and great selection...of drinks. Great atmosphere First class and we will be back.

Lovely traditional pub with a warm welcome. Menu had all the traditional favourites on and there was enough choice. Food came promptly, was a good portion and delicious. Staff and locals were friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Seating area outside looked nice but...it was a bit cold for that. Dog friendly as well.

We’ve just had a realllllly good meal at The Butchers Arms. The two front of house staff ran the whole restaurant and bar like clockwork. They were both cheerful and efficient even though it was a busy evening. Great atmosphere too. The meal was very...good and so worth the money. Actually it wasn’t bad value for such lovely food. My husband loved the pie, mash and gravy. Highly recommended!

On the whole the food is decent all be it all stodge. The main complaint is that barring one lady who was short in stature but very helpful the rest of the servers are oblivious. Heads down, do not look around the room cardinal...sin in that industry to not be observant. Also highly irritated to be left sat for 15 minutes with no drink/ menu on arrival. Left for the same length of time when wanting to pay clueless.

we came to stop as a big group just before eating and thought we were turned away, but we were greeted, recommended it would be a bit wait, about 15 minutes, which are not long in my eyes! we are a loud baptism, but when eating arrived, there was quiet and we looked at and said: "is that the most beautiful burger and chips that you had ever answered? I'm not in my eating, I'm just eating because they need to, but I'm coming back before we go because it was exceptional service and eating was yummmy.

I emailed a few weeks ago never got a reply. The room was dark, we had to use the lights on our phones to read the menus. These were dark letters ona dark paper.. Various fonts sizes. 6 of us cramped on a...table, not fit for 6 people. So not a relaxing environment. 2 couples had arrived the waiter was pushing us to order before the others had arrived. Even telling us, the table was booked again later in the evening. Again, this made us all feel unwelcome rushed. The main course came on chopping boards, that were really slime. Did not feel hygienic. The salad, was half a gem lettuce. The pudding had frozen not fresh fruit. The food on the whole was good, Good company, as not seen each other...
