absolutely fantastic again. we like this place so much that we have booked for 20 guests a peak' dinner. perfect in every sight, especially our personal service of natalie.

I've been here a couple of times each visit the food didn't disappoint, amazing! Service fabulous and staff always welcoming and friendly... Definitely recommend and will be back again soon!

Amazing food, not the cheapest as pub grub goes but certainly good value for money. A notch above average pub food. Servers friendly helpful and attentive without being. In your face. Great overall experience

Party of 11 to celebrate a special birthday. Excellent food. Excellent service. Set in an excellent room. Lovely to have every detail checked and accommodated for. Nice to have a small interlude in between courses. Pleasant and courteous staff. Excellent value too.

This restaurant never fails to deliver. Great food, good selection of beer and lovely staff. Always a friendly atmosphere that never disappoints. My partner had the special of the day, which he enjoyed, while I had a Greek burger with chips and salad, which was delicious. We both had a dessert of apple cake and pumpkin, and a cheesecake (for an extra £1.50), but it was worth it! The waitress was attentive, ensuring we were happy with our meal and had enough to drink. The total cost for both meals and drinks came to only £26.95, which was incredible considering the quality of the food, ambiance, and service. We will definitely be returning before we head home.

The Carnarvon helped us celebrate our small Christmas eve wedding. We was in the glass House area which was nice and private. The food was perfect and all our guests was happy and enjoyed what they had ordered. We opted for the Christmas fayre menu to keep it simple which had a decent choice on it for people who didn't want an actual Christmas dinner. The only mix up I had noticed is some people wanted custard and not cream on their puddings but it was sorted straight away with no fuss. The food was excellent and all of our guests were pleased with their dishes. We opted for the Christmas Family menu, which offered a variety of options for those who didn't want a traditional Christmas dinner. There was a small mix-up with some guests wanting custard instead of cream on their desserts, but it was quickly and easily resolved. One of our guests, who had never been to The Carnarvon before, remarked on the beauty of the venue and expressed a desire to return.
