Great location, smart, clean accommodation, good beer, great wine choice and good food. But the thing that really makes The Castle is the attitude of the people working there. We had a wonderful lunch here. From the moment we walked through the door and were greeted with such a warm welcome, to the attentive service to the faultless food! Great place to meet up with 3 generations to celebrate a family birthday. Rooms: Boutique Nearby activities: Part of the Jurassic coast walk. Water sports in the bay. Walkability: Fantastic Lulworth Cove walk just along from pub Food drinks: The food was excellent and wide choice for all tastes. Excellent breakfast menu. We had an AMAZING meal at the Castle Inn. The staff could not have been more accommodating. They were so friendly, attentive, quick and always had a smile on all their faces. They spotted my Nana coming from outside (as she has a walker to get around) and they opened the door for her in advance so she could get in easily. They were always asking how we were. The general vibe of the pub was warm, cosey, but clean and stylish! Could not fault the food. A wonderful night. Special mention to Ian, our wonderful waiter. Thanks for a lovely evening

Honestly, such a wonderful place!!! We stayed for a weekend of wandering about Lulworth and I absolutely cannot fault the Castle Inn. The rooms were beautiful, quiet, warm and cozy and came with lovely smelling toiletries and felt much more luxurious than I expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Castle Inn is an easy 10 minute stroll to the coast where you can explore the cove or walk to Durdle Door. Also the WiFi was strong enough for us to grab some Glastonbury tickets (not an easy task as some may know). Had a fab time and hope to return some day.
