Really friendly with excellent service and delicious food. I had the rump steak, and it was cooked perfectly! Highly recommended

The carvery in this place is amazing! My daughter in law had the nut roast version and she said it was fab! The rest of the menu is very good too!

After the funeral of my wife, seven of us enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant. My two grandsons especially loved the large rack of ribs they ordered, followed by indulgent desserts. Speisekarte ansehen

Excellent new lunch menu. The wraps are delicious, well made and fresh ingredients. Very dog friendly, lots of treats and chews available for your pub pooch. Will be stopping by as regular as possible with the doggie in tow.

After a friends recommendation I thought I'd book for my wives birthday. What a great pub, old and traditional in appearance, not many left like this. Now the food bit, we both had a different main meal and both were faultless. Lovely staff very attentive but not in your face. The overall food/impression was GREAT. Would we go back again without hesitation as there is more on the menu I'd like to try.

I stumbled upon a great find while traveling back to West Sussex from the outlet center in Ashford. It was Sunday, so I decided to stop here for a Sunday Lunch. Although I am not usually a fan of carveries, I decided to give theirs a try and was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the meal was. Our second visit over he last few months. The first visit was fine, whats happened? We ordered pizza. Sadly our experience was that it was the worst pizza we can remeber being served. It was awkward as we were there with new friends and didnt want to make a fuss. The accompanying fries were fine, the pizza lacked flavour, minimal topping ingredients and the base; despite description referencing high quality sourdough base was almost inedible, like cardboard.

I would like to extend a big thank you to Diane, Andrew, and the team at Chequers for a wonderful evening on Saturday. The organization and hosting of my birthday party were excellent. I had a fantastic time, as did all of my guests. The feedback I have received includes praise for the delicious food, warm welcome, great atmosphere, and excellent service from the friendly staff. Personally, I cannot thank you all enough for a memorable night that flew by too quickly. You are all truly legendary.

We came upon the Chequers on the Green by chance after visiting the Ashford Designer Outlet and it was a wonderful surprise. The staff were very helpful and welcoming and the food was excellent. My husband over indulged in the fabulous carvery and I had the Thai rib eye steak, both delicious. Apart from the wonderful food, what we noticed most was how well the place is managed and that despite the staff being very young, they were all very well trained and professional.
