This restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan and vegetarian options, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. I especially enjoy visiting in the winter, as they serve tea and coffee until late, unlike most other cafes that close earlier. It's my favorite spot!

This is a fantastic restaurant located in a former hospital. They offer a notable selection of vegan options with a separate menu. The green vegetable risotto I had was amazing! The service was friendly and helpful. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Exeter.

We ate here twice during our stay in Exeter. It’s conveniently located near our hotel (Mercure Southgate) and we loved the atmosphere here. I had the gluten free/vegan risotto for dinner and the gluten free vegan breakfast in the morning. I can’t do spicy so they replaced the harissa beans with regular for me.

We enjoyed our Friday evening dinner for four (only two vegans) the staff were most attentive and helpful and the atmosphere (apart from the animal heads) was good. We enjoyed our meal from the vegan menu and although there was only one dessert we enjoyed the chocolate orange tort. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

I arrived at the restaurant on a Tuesday night, just a week before Christmas, without a reservation. It can be risky under those circumstances, but despite the crowd, we were welcomed without any issues. I appreciated that they asked about dietary preferences and allergies, allowing us to receive the appropriate menu without needing to search for vegetarian or vegan options. I ordered the turmeric cauliflower, roasted vegetables with harissa, garlic mushrooms, and, of course, chips! The dishes were creative, delicious, and fresh. The service from Charlie and her team was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the prices were reasonable. What's not to love?

I've been to Cosy Club in Exeter many times, and it is a bit hit-or-miss. Sometimes it's great, other times not so, and once they had run out of vegan mains which was very disappointing, especially as I had booked a table for my boyfriend's birthday meal! The vegan menu changes occasionally, but generally offers good options. There is much more choice if you go between 9am and 6pm, so I would advise visiting for breakfast, brunch, lunch or early dinner. The tapas options are really nice, as is the vegan panini, but unfortunately there is only one dessert option which is a sorbet. Staff are very friendly, and the building is interesting because it used to be a hospital; it feels really grand...
