The Crown Inn - Speisekarte

Peaceful setting, top class service and a great selection of home cooked vegetarian food. We had mac an cheese, nut roast and lasagne. All were great value and delicious!

Excellent food, so clean and covid safety efficient. Friendly staff, cannot do enough for you, would recommend strongly. We have visited every year we go to Mangerton nearby, the best pub around

Good food, great service, fantastic company with welcoming locals. If you want food where you are made to feel welcome, then come here, the menu isn’t extensive but it’s well worth the welcome, highly recommend Speisekarte ansehen

No change from the last time I ate here in Still the same lovely couple running the pub, still the same nourishing home cooked food, still the same warmth of feeling, still the same well kept beer. Still wanting to go back.

My Wife and I had not eaten Sunday roast at the Crown Inn for a few months, but It's simply got better, and it was excellent the last time! Five stars for everything, the only disappointment being we had to leave when they needed to...close! Well done to the whole team!!

We went here for their Sunday lunch having been recommended by a friend, and we’re so glad we did! It was absolutely amazing; an incredible array of seasonal vegetables to accompany beautifully cooked meat, and the portions were incredibly generous too. We recently had a holiday in Uploaders and booked a table at the Crown Inn in the village. The food was absolutely delicious (especially the Sunday roast) and the hospitality of the landlord and landlady, David and Karin, was outstanding. Their welcome was lovely and...they were genuinely interested and made time to chat. We were so impressed by such a positive experience that we went back more times. We will certainly return when we are in the area again.

The Crown is a place with many family memories during years of visiting it. The pub has changed hands since our last visit, but what a welcome return. The team at The Crown have created such a lovely warm atmosphere. The Sunday Roast was...just excellent with two very lovely lamb roasts and a tasty nut roast. The vegetables served with it were beautifully cooked and we were even offered creamy celeriac mash, which was just so good. Such good quality and portions that the mouthwatering dessert menu was only a dream, as we couldn’t eat another thing. Wonderful value for money and freshly cooked. I went there again, for the first time post Brexit. The booking process was friendly and accurate with a couple of our favourites on Offer. Of the of us five, pre-ordered Liver and Bacon and the others had Steak and Kidney Pudding . We...were cordially greeted, by Dave the ever friendly licensee and Lorna and Karin as the waitress and cook also welcomed us. Drinks were efficiently served Our member had an excellent and generous portion of whitebait and well garnished with salad and bread and butter. It looked great. Our meals all had that Wow' factor.
