Great to be back what a wonderful place. Delicious Lobster Rolls fried potatoes in an amazing otherworldly location

Best fish I've ever tasted. Children had fisherman's rolls. My wife had the scallops. Everyone enjoyed their food. Delicious will be coming back!

What a find. On the beach. It was packed. The menu is extensive. Rough and ready as you would expect. This is its charm. The food is absolutely fantastic. Will certainly be back!

Tasty Fisherman’s Roll, plenty of tartare sauce, salad and coleslaw. Sitting on the beach, watching the life boat and listening to the hoot of the steam train on the RH&D railway.

We came here for lunch after getting the train from Hythe and we were thrilled with the quality of the food. Really good, fresh fish and crispy fried potatoes! Able to cater to gluten-free too (though not coeliac), and very friendly and helpful staff! Speisekarte ansehen

The shack is very basic but ideal for Dungeness . Expect benches and wooden tables on beach to sit on. Lovely atmosphere. Staff are very good. Sea food is excellent lovely and fresh as it’s caught in the morning. Highly recommended. Most of my family had Fish and potatoes, and went down very well. Check the opening hours first. A Cabin next door also sells seafood.

O.M.G!!!!! This was the BEST lunch I've had in ages!! And I travel the world, hanging out in fancy hotels, cos that's my job : Went here with a friend and 3 kids, 1 on a strict medical keto diet which the staff also helped me cater for!! I had scallops, scallops, more scallops, a couple of cheeky oysters on the side, and a bit of slaw and salad to balance it out. Super fresh, all of it, and the staff are so cheery and friendly.

Our 3rd visit, and not our last! As ever, it was busy but there again, it was Easter Monday. The shack is on the main road through Dungeness, just past Prospect Cottage and on the way to the power station. Plenty of parking on the road and with a small car park just ahead. The fish is fresh that day, served with delicious fried potatoes. It is excellent, and quite the eating experience to sit there in such an unusual environment. Plenty of walks along the shore or down to the miniature railway station. Finish off with an ice cream and don’t forget there is plenty of fresh fish also available to take home. Speisekarte ansehen
